Actually, if it’s dark, sound still travels, check mate deaf people
@DrSin, so technically there are non visible wavelengths of light. Basically all of the wavelengths of light except for ‘visible light’ are invisible so sign language would still travel at the speed of light but they wouldn’t be in a visible spectrum...
The universe gave me this nerd of a brain and I get to use it to watch the world be stupid and understand just how stupid people really are (ie how people argue about covid, elections, life) while they call me stupid for not being able to explain what I know coherently as if the universe is coherent....
*sobs in existential crisis*
@orion55, say in infrared, it would still be visible, as the easiest example.
Shut the fvck up
@DrSin, sign language can travel in a vacuum but normal language cannot
Also written language.
But which ones can go around corners without a mirror (refraction does not count)
Technically sign language travels at the does of the visual cortex, which has about a second and a half delay.
I knew they could communicate in the future
You should sign that to them since it’s faster than body slamming
