As a British guy, I agree. My dinner last night was cheesy soup and bread, and the rest of the time its pasta and cheese
@DickRockHardJohnson, as a classically trained chef in america, i have to ask, what is cheesy soup? Is it any soup with cheese added, or are you eating a soup made of cheese and somehow beat America at its own game?
@DickRockHardJohnson, I second Rikdek. That sounds more like American food than American food.
@Rikdek Millstone, Honestly I'm kinda fat so I get a bowl of any soup I want, put a bit of butter in, microwave it, then fill it with grated cheese, mix it up, microwave again, then again, stir until it's got an orange tint, then toast bread, butter it, dip the crusts in the soup and eat them, then submerge the bread in the soup. I do the same with pasta except without the bread, and I cut up hotdogs and chuck them in
@DickRockHardJohnson, im fat too! and that sounds great but definitely something my wife would kill me for if she saw me eating it! And word, thanks for the explanation, I had to look it up too because there is a thing called cheese soup, but as far as I can tell it is just a cheaply made, Mornay sauce, but a bowl of it which sounds like a heart attack, but also an amazing experience.
@Rikdek Millstone, dude if you want a delicious heart attack you cook hotdogs and dont cut them up, big blob of butter and a shıt ton of grated cheese on a plate, mix them both up into a dipping sauce for the hotdogs. It'll kill you, but you'll die happy
@DickRockHardJohnson, I'm 29 and British
And i still crave turkey dinosaurs and chips..
@Tis but a scratch, thanks for updating my dinner plans, I am pleased
@DickRockHardJohnson, your description of butter and cheese makes me drool. Keep up the FP free recipes :D
@Dan the WarehouseMan, I might make a recipe book for poor British people, thanks for the idea!
They have a health potion ready just in case
Their bread slices are YUGE.
Ah good old neeps n tatties. Scottish food is so unhealthy it's no wonder they all have a drinking problem lol
Who said bangers and mash?
I'm pourin' meself a pint already...
As an american I feel it is my duty to inform you that we have a dish called beer cheese soup. On an important side note it contains bacon.
