Don't get me wrong I am annoyed with bosses healing but not because it's difficult but because it's lazy. If I've gotten a boss down to it's last few health points giving him more only wasted my time.
@Hagasay, I think if it’s a punishment for failing to stop it then it’s fine.
Like Hans Volter in KF2. At certain health levels he gains a temporary shield, then tries to grab a player. If you break the shield you prevent him from healing. If he grabs a player he gains about 30-40% of his hp back. He can do it a max of three times per fight
@Cloverleaf, yeah I hadn't thought about that before I made my comment but I certainly agree. A boss that could heal indefinitely or one shot the players or have any number of other abilities that would be absurd/infuriating in a vacuum but on the contrary be incredibly enjoyable should the player have ways to counteract the boss through skill or knowledge.
@Hagasay, *glares at Scorchbeast Queen*
"B-b-but I need health potions because he's so OP!"
*Downs liquid health, attack boosting steroids, reflex enhancing meth, luck increasing balm*
"If he can regenerate during combat then it's clearly unfair!"
*Swaps armour set to better condition set in the blink of an eye.*
"There's no way I can beat him!"
*Abuses invulnerability frames of breathing and unsheathing weapon.*
Boss: "I have forgotten why we started to fight; I just want you stop being a whiny bjtch now."
*proceeds to down Flintstone vitamin gumnies and remember the good times he had with his friends.*
If a boss is going to heal then he cant also have 10x the health of the player. Pick one.
I hate when there is a full on cut scene involved in the healing. I always end up dying at least once in those situations and end up having to watch some unskipable cut scene like three times
What is this from?
