Pretty sure chess has had many sequels, just not a 'Chess 2.'
@TheKen42, more like dlc’s though
@TheKen42, in the same way, ESO, Blades, and that ES TCG came out after ES: V, but nobody cares and just wants ESO: VI.
Chess two. Now with 3 dimensions.
@ImNotRacistBut, you say that, but there is 5th dimensional chess available on steam.
You can move back in time and Into parralel dimensions where pieces are altered, collapsing all of these into fewer timelines until you win the majority.
It's great because masterminds and idiots of the game are on equal footing due to time shenanigans.
@ImNotRacistBut, pretty sure 3 dimensional chess is in Star Trek Next Generation. Infinite dimension chess shows up in the manga and anime Blood Blockade Battlefront
@Samblob, I can tell you which game I won’t be downloading
I always thought of Stratego as “Chess 2”
Feudal is a fun variant of chess. Allows up to 4 players and has specific terrain on the board that certain units have to go around (and mountain terrain that all units must go around).
Its called RTS games. Warcraft, Starcraft, C&C just to name a few. Sadly an almost dead genre.
