Actually angels aren't physically described in the Bible. That depiction comes from The Divine Comedy.

@DamienD, Seraphim and Cherubim specifically are described... similar to this. Many faces, many eyes, many wings, sometimes with the whirring wheels.

@DamienD, Yes they are (as stated below) and they literally had to say "dude, don't be afraid, the big guy upstairs sent me" (people still fainted)
@supahotfiya, that’s exactly why they’re designed the way they are. I grew up Christian (still am) and wasn’t fazed when I saw the angels. I was actually really impressed at how accurate the games are about angels, demons and witches.
