My neighbors dog who passed away recently did something like this, he would lose his tiny jack russel terrier mind over flashes of light. He would lick the ground trying to get more flashes somehow lol. Miss ya Oliver

I read somewhere once that dogs that do this (essentially act like cats and “chase lasers and shadows”) are anxious and have lost natural canine instincts (tracking with nose). 🤷♂️
