To be fair though, when most Americans heard about it, we also had Nancy Pelosi saying essentially, come on down to China town and get some food, its nothing to worry about. And the WHO saying it can't be spread from person to person.

It doesn’t help that local, state, and federal government all dropped the ball. The hypocrisy and double standards from them pushed people further into not trusting them and wanting to do the exact opposite of what they requested.
