You get what you fvcking deserve
And then they start spreading false news and false fear of people being caught for fraud, market manipulation, etc.
@bowlnmike, Yeah the people who organized and beneffitted the most from it are the only ones who should be worried about being caught for securities fraud. Everyone else are either victims or opportunists.
@bowlnmike, followed by making new laws to prevent anything like this from ever happening again. Good thing too, someone might achieve financial stability and leave their job and we can’t have independent thinkers out there.
@bowlnmike, I mean it literally is intentional mispricing of stock and market manipulation. But thats only for the initial redditors that conspired to do it.
@Ginga Bishounen, nothing illegal with telling people to buy stock. They had no insider information about gamestop and they didn't spread any misleading information
@Ginga Bishounen, you seem to think the redditors did something "new and illegal" here. They didnt do anything that hasnt been happening for decades already. Its really good to see those assholes getting fvcked over by their own tactics
@Guy Fawkes, I'm not saying reddit bad wall street good. I'm saying its actually illegal and whether or not any legal action is taken is up to the SEC. If they do, its hippocritical af though
@Ginga Bishounen, well thats nothing new either though hahaha, hypocrite might as well be a synonym for politician
@Guy Fawkes, Yeah politicians are hypocritical but Wall Streeters and the SEC are not politicians. Wall Street influences politicians and politicians influence the SEC, though they're not supposed to. Wall Street is very hypocritical. Not so sure about the SEC though.
@mas2de, theyre all on the same side anyhow
The internet: we know, we caused that
Content creators: “Jackpot!”
Seems everyone is getting paid....
They won't be able to get that 5th yacht this year because of you degenerates.
But aren't those hedge fund managers managing the 401ks of a million people? So yeah you're screwing the big guy, but you're also destroying people's savings accounts?
@bobs and vegene, that's like saying because someone sources their bullets from poor starving children in Africa you shouldn't fight back when they start shooting at you cuz those kids will lose their jobs. Over the past decades these funds have accrued such wealth and power they game the markets to make money at the expense of regular Americans (2008/the big short ring a bell) all while being "too big to fail". If something is too big to fail it has too much power and needs to be broken up
@jouze, I guess
And then the stocks dropped $100 today.
Damn you Robin Hood..i could've been a millionaire
Hold tight my fellow smooth brained diamond hands
