@that1german, I was down there on a mission trip just days before that hurricane hit. Had to leave early. While I was there I found out that the main source of income for the country was money laundering.

Wouldn't they just dredge the river and re route it underneath the bridge again? Looks like they gave up on it a while ago, as no other road exists around it.
Crazy how nature do that...... No seriously, that's really cool (sucks for the tax payers, though)
