I feel like the only people who like living in large cities have never lived any of their life away from a city and don’t know what they’re missing out on
@TriangleTesticles, i grew up in a town of 17k went to school in town 9k and now live in a city of 4m. I like it, but i see how its not for everyone.
@TriangleTesticles, I grew up in a suburb, moved to NYC for a handful of years and moved out. It was a good experience. Glad I did it. Glad it’s done.
@TriangleTesticles, like lack of crime and action? Oh please, I like the suspense of whether the gunshots are at my building or not.
@bowlnmike, lol! I’ll say that I lived in East Harlem and apparently there was absolutely crime in our neighborhood but I lived their for 4 years and never felt unsafe. The impression I always got was that if I didn’t go looking for trouble (or doing anything to put an obvious target on my back) then trouble wasn’t looking for me. I mean... sometimes when you put that many people on top of eachother that’s enough.
