I’d rather walk
I'm in this picture and I don't like it
@The Lifeguard, so you’re actually a gas pump monitor in real life?
i go to the cashier first. im not sticking my card in there, cuse its just gonna say ‘pin number plz’ and ive never needed that damn number but anything but gas pumps. I dont remember it anymore, dont care. I just give the card to the cashier and say $30 on 3 or whatever number pump im at. easy.
@Z0IDBERG, I just pay cash.
@Z0IDBERG, what are you, 60?
@ImNotRacistBut, 71 thankyou
@Z0IDBERG, and you know how to use a phone?
My debit card info kept getting stolen, like over and over again, and each time my bank said it was probably taken by a skimmer at a gas station. After the 5th time or so I said fvck it and started going inside to pay, just to see if it made a difference. Was annoying at first, but got used to it quick, especially since my card info hasn’t been stolen since. To be fair, I live in Los Angeles and a lot of shady stuff happens here…
@TurbulentJuice, that's why my family always uses cash at gas stations. Can't have your info stolen with cash. Haven't had any issues with our info being skimmed.
I know you can pay for gas by paying at the register but does anyone actually do that?
Time to skedaddle
So one chain of gas stations I go to has a cash members card where it gives you the member rate and you can pay after with cash. Kept getting an error at this one station, so I went inside and the guy was like, "Oh, at THIS location, you have to prepay, this is the only one though."
Kind of annoying.
I drove back the way I came, passed my house, and drove another 5 minutes out of my way because this happened to me.
