I feel like people had more common sense back then. Im not saying they were smarter, just more aware of how not to die, but I live in Florida so bar here is really low.
@Man with a Cat, I feel that people have always been dumb but now we have the internet so nothing stays a secret. The universe is limited but the stupidity of man isn't
@TheBigQ, yes the internet means the worlds issues and worries are brought to your doorstep at all times. We get a window into everyone's tragedy to make the world seem bleaker than it really is, don't lose that faith in humanity yet.
@Man with a Cat, I was just in Florida on vacation. And I took a test that no one graded and got a jet ski license. I could have intentionally gotten every question wrong and still gotten the license.
Yeah back then you were expected to keep yourself alive. The number of times I’ve heard well if it wasn’t supposed to do that why wasn’t there a sign telling me that or something similar makes me firmly believe we should go back to this
@ComradePugh, Some still don't, the best ones. But to reduce liability, they have been putting more in, with those stupid leg rests that get in the way or the ball crusher 9000 adapter.
@Snip216, We have turned into a litigious mess. Some torts are justified but there are way too many "I used your product like a complete idiot and injured myself. Pay me."
