Holy crap that movie was trash. It was so bad I couldn’t even finish it.
During the first 15 minutes, it was like an advertisement for Lebron James and Warner brothers, with 18 different references to Warner or their logo within a 10 minute time span. The movie is cringe af.
Also, they didn’t actually bother having Lebron pretend to be interacting with Bugs and the toons, like the original with Michael. This time around they made Lebron a cartoon during that segment of the movie.
The new Space Jam is grade A shït.
Also, Black Widow was actually pretty good. Not worth paying $30 just for one person to see it, but pretty good.
@I Are Lebo, I thought they both sucked but space jam was way worse.
@I Are Lebo, im looking forward to watching black widow when it becomes free on D+ but i have no intention of ever sitting down and actually watching the new space jam
@Guy Fawkes, Black Widow was a fairly typical MCU movie. If you liked most of the MCU movies, you’ll like Black Widow. If you hate superhero movies, you’ll hate Black Widow. It doesn’t push any envelopes, but what it does it does well. It doesn’t ruin her character, nor does it introduce any real change-ups to her story. It did kind of confirm that Natasha never really truly opened up to any of the Avengers, given none of them had any idea about this ‘family’ of hers, but it kind of makes sense from the context and the stuff they’ve been setting up for Madam Hydra. It’s worth watching, especially if you wait for it to get onto basic Disney+.
However, the new Space Jam is pure shït. It’s unwatchable.
Well it was a very mediocre movie, so...
@IronBelly, space jam or black widow?
@dshira, black Jam or space widow?
Sadly it’s a fake. Had different text originally
And the original Space Jam made fun of Disney for the Mighty Ducks, so this is payback
It's a movie for kids...
@Pervy Sage Jiraiya, I would agree with you if it weren't for the numerous references for am older audience. Kids don't know the Matrix very well these days. I think it was made for people my age who loved the first one when we were kids.
@Cruxio , they throw those in every kids movie, since they know families are gonna be watching it, help the parents have a good time too.
It seems like all "new" movies are remakes or spinoffs
How do they measure Space Jam take when it is no extra cost on HBO Max? I mean being free to stream to regular subscribers gave it an edge.
