Can’t wait for that kid too see a bunch of grown men in lingerie with d!Ld0s strapped to their face.
Nah Forreal though. Those parades are 100% not child friendly.
@nippleswibble, what? Flapping dicks around isn't PG?
@Guy Fawkes, Only if they’re gay Dicks. If you believe otherwise fvck you, bigot.
@nippleswibble, as someone as part of the pride community... Those parades are not child friendly
@JacieTwisted, but I have to bring my child so I can get the FB social point rewards for the dopamine hits and self esteem comments...
@nippleswibble, neither are churches, got to keep your kids away from those priest.
Speak for yourself lol
I have been only to one parade, and most of my friends I speak through on xbox.
Not everybody is the way you think they are, you know?
@JacieTwisted, I was generalizing the Twitter crowd in June. it wasnt directed towards you.
@JacieTwisted, I don’t think they are saying the whole community is that way, just that pride parade can be very rated R.
@Eeveelution, that's not a very apt comparison though. Saying that as someone who is most certainly not a christian, much less a catholic.
Or adults for that matter.
Remember, just because it's socially acceptable doesn't mean it isn't child abuse
@Hellabaloo, so you agree that children also shouldn’t be forced to go to church, right?
@Chifilo, that genuinely has to be the worst segué/non-sequiter ive ever heard in my life.
@weneedacrusade, nah, he's got a point
@Chifilo, don't be absurd, I'm not here for some sort of fair equality between social groups. Children should be raised in the faith that Jesus Christ is the Lord, the way, the truth, the light, and homosexuality is a sin. And God loves everyone. And every single person is equally a damned sinner, no exception.
@Hellabaloo, just adding to this.
God loves the sinner not the sin.
Some times loving someone means you don't suport them.
@Hellabaloo, Yea... Sorry... No one should be forcefully raised to believe in a fairy tale.
It should be an option that is introduced later on in life if the person is willing to accept it. But forcing anyone, especially children, to believe in something is wrong and immoral, regardless of how moral you think that something is. Period.
Over 4200 recognized main religions in this world. Over 45,000 separate, officially recognized denominations in Christianity alone. And every single one thinks their religion is not only the right and true religion, but that their religion is the only religion that should be accepted globally lol.
Keep your religion, politics, beliefs and ideologies etc. away from small children. Teach them how to think. Not what to think.
Course that concept just blows over the heads of religious zealots around the world who think forcing their children to be brainwashed into their way of thinking at the youngest age possible is at all ok. Smh. Disgusting.
@LaDarkProphet, no need to apologize, we disagree. Plus the internet is the least likely place to have an opinion changed
@Hellabaloo, O i am aware that trying to explain something to a zealot is a waste of time, effort and energy ^-^
And Hey at least we agree on something! This format ain't really gunna change anyone's mind ^-^
@LaDarkProphet, so something a person believes shouldn’t be forced on children.. regardless of how moral they think it is.
Could this same logic be applied to lgbt culture and teaching sexual ambiguity? Because this stuff is definitely being forced on children at the moment.
@nippleswibble, Depends on the context.
Little Timmy has a friend at school that has two dads. He is curious and asks about it. Thats when you give him the age appropriate response, "Every family is different. Sometimes people have a mom and dad, some have two dads or two moms, or sometimes they don't have a mom or dad at all. Each family is different little Timmy. The only thing that matters is that your friend is happy and healthy. It doesn't matter who raises him. Be it mom and dad, two moms, two dads, grandma and grandpa or a kind sewer rat. So long as his needs are met then who his family is is not our business."
That? Is a lot more moral then telling Little Timmy, " What?! You have a friend that is being raised by a couple of fa gg ots?! How dare that school allow such a disgusting abomination near my child!" 👈 That? Not ok. That is bs. All a child needs is just the facts. Not a politically charged rant or lecture.
@nippleswibble, And yes. That goes for the LGBT community as well. They don't need to glorify their relationship or try and force other people into being part of the LGBT community.
Timmy doesn't need to hear, "What? Your friend has two gay lovers for parents? Thats so amazing! It means he is very special and needs special treatment because his family is so woke etc. etc."
Teach them how to think. Not what to think. 8 billion people on this planet. There are primative tribes all over the world that still live like its 800bc. There is a tribe in Oceania/Malaysia that lives the vast majority of their entire life out at sea, rarely ever touching land.
People have vastly different lifes. Instead of pushing an agenda, one way or the other, instead teach them the facts, and the scientific method, how to find information and how to source fact from fabrication. Help them discover their own beliefs and ideals without forcing it on them.
Now if they are a little bit older, or curiously ask you to share what you believe in then by all means tell them. But make it age appropriate. Stress to them that this is simply what you believe and that they are more then welcome to believe in it with you, but that if they choose not to then thats fine too. Tell them that you will love them no matter what they believe in, so long as they do not hurt themselves or others.
A parents love should be unconditional. If your Catholic, Muslim or Hindu and your child decides their an atheist then should you stop loving them and disown them? Threaten bodily harm onto them? Tell them how disgusted and disappointed you are? No. You disagree, but you still love and support them.
Alternatively. If a gay family raises a straight child they should absolutely not be disappointed, or try and press them to be gay. Both situations are heinous.
Am I coming across clearly on where I stand? I'm not very good at speaking clearly lol.
@LaDarkProphet, you are very clear. I understand what you’re saying. It’s not too much of a stretch from where I’m at.
The only place I see Christian people chastising homosexuals for their lifestyle is in Netflix shows and any other Hollywood production. Which, is really not an accurate representation of reality. I’m not saying it doesn’t happen, but it’s not nearly as common as it’s being portrayed. The Bible teaches you to love everyone and treat them with unconditional kindness no matter their race, gender, sexual orientation, etc.
So, if you’ve seen someone be that way towards another person, I’m extremely sorry on their behalf because they’re doing the Christian people a disservice and they’re not following what they supposedly believe.
The disconnect is that Christians believe homosexuality is a sin. Here’s the thing, though. A christian may believe homosexuality is a sin, but he’s just as inherently sinful as the next guy. We’re all on the same playing field.
@LaDarkProphet, just because you disagree with someone’s lifestyle doesn’t mean you hate them. I’m sure you’ve had friends that you love dearly but don’t necessarily agree with them 100% on everything. Same concept. You may even think some of the stuff they’re doing is self destructive. But just because you may feel that way, doesn’t mean they do too. They may think they’re just living life. So, you love them anyway and it doesn’t, in any way, change how you feel about them. You wish them the best and hope they can see what they’re doing isn’t good for themself. Again, same concept. Except instead of hoping, christians pray about it.
You make it sound as if I am ignorant on the supposed beliefs of Christians. I assure you. I am not.
I know fully well what they are "supposed" to believe. But you, I'm sorry to say, are very ignorant on the ways of the world. You don't see Christian hatred and violence against homsexuals unless its some Netflix or Hollywood production? Then you are extremely naive and ignorant. Forced gay conversion camps happen all the time, all over the U.S. There are hundreds, probably thousands, of YouTube Videos of pastors and other Christians actively calling for violence. Like... Do you even know wtf the West Boro Baptist Church is? Thats not Netflix or Hollywood propaganda my dear. Thats reality. Why you have your head so far in the sand is baffling. And thats just Christians. Certain Islamic countries have homosexuality as a literal death sentence. As demanded by their constitutional laws.
@nippleswibble, I do not know why you are hung up on Christianity when I clearly said that ALL religions and beliefs should be kept away from small children, not just yours.
Here is a Sacramento Pastor who praises the Orlando shooting, you know... The one that killed 50+ people? Or maybe you don't know since your not very aware of the news. Anyway. Your saying that this guy, who had hundreds of thousands of followers, is some magical outlier? You really want to tell me that supposedly the vast majority of Christians are kind, warm, caring, understanding and loving people when it comes to homsexuals? Are you joking? You can see right here, in this very FP comment thread, supposed Christians spewing vitriol. But instead of calling them out your talking to me. Why is that? I'd love to know.
Let's hit you with some more evidence my ignorant friend.
@LaDarkProphet, If you believe all Christians are the way you think they are, you’re also extremely ignorant and naive, dear. If you understood and were familiar with Christian beliefs you’d know that these supposed “Christians” were way out of line and not following their teaching. You don’t want to hear anything other than what you believe of Christians. Have a great day.
And I could literally do this all day. And that's just primarily the U.S and the U.K.
I could start pulling statistics from all over the world and they would all say the same thing. A religious person is several times higher to be illogical and hateful against anyone and anything that doesn't fit their doctrine. The Ku Klux Klan's sign up form literally demands its members to be Christian. https://credo.library.umass.edu/view/full/mums312-b157-i167
Again. I could do this for literal hours. (TBC)
@nippleswibble, Dont put words in my mouth.
I never, not once said all Christians were like this. But a lot are. Pretending they don't exist helps no one.
@nippleswibble, You don't want to hear anything other then full support and praise of the Christian faith and refuse to acknowledge its seedy underbelly.
Would that be a fair statement? No. So don't do it to me.
@LaDarkProphet, Don’t put words in my mouth either dude. I didn’t say stuff like that doesn’t happen or doesn’t exist. I said it’s not as common as it’s being portrayed. You made it sound like Christians run around harassing gay people at any given opportunity and that’s simply not the case. You keep referring to these atrocious people, which, yes, are absolutely awful, but that is not the Christian body as a whole nor are they following what they supposedly believe. Which ultimately makes them not Christians lol. I don’t understand what’s so hard to understand about that.
@nippleswibble, Here. Actually. Let me make it perfectly clear. Since you need help apparently seeing my actual point.
All. Religions. Should. Be. Kept. Separate. From. The. Raising. Of. Small. Children. All. Of. Them. Not. Just. Christians.
That. Being. Said. Not. All. Religious. People. Are. Hateful. Violent. Bigots. Just. Like. Not. All. Christians. Are. Ku. Klux. Klan. Members. But. All. Religions. Do. Have. Hateful. Spiteful. Ignorant. Bigots. Among. Them. Just. Like. Any. Group. Of. People. Has. Their. Share. Of. Arseholes.
And. I. Do. NOT. Condone. That. Kind. Of. Behavior. From. By. Or. For. Anyone.
There. That should clear up any confusion you have. I personally, aside from the point we are actually supposed to be talking about, hate all religions. But guess what? I don't hate the religious. My best friend in the world is Christian and I would literally die for him. If he needed a kidney I would cut my own out with a spoon if I had to.
@nippleswibble, And I literally proved, with actual evidence, that it is WAY MORE COMMON then you think it is.
And I hate to break it to you sweetheart but remember the 45,000 different denominations of Christianity? Guess what? A lot of those branches claim discriminating against homsexuals is well within their doctrine as fully believing Christians. You can "No true Scotsman" fallacy all you like and say, "Well these people who claim to be Christian clearly go against my personal interpretations of the religion therfore their not, like... Real Christians. So they don't count." That opinion is irrelevant. These bigots claim they are Christian, believe in the Bible and that Jesus Christ is their lord and savior etc. etc. Blah blah blah. Just because they believe in a different interpretation of Christian then you do, doesn't make them any less Christian.
@LaDarkProphet, the only thing you proved is that you’re an angry, condescending aśshole. I tried to be cordial and you wanted to be a jerk. So I’m out.
@nippleswibble, Lol. Going back to your head in the sand I see. That's ok. I understand. For the record? Next time? Try and talk about my actual points and not getting hung up on a tiny singular aspect and then start putting words in my mouth. If you hadn't done that, then I would have put a bit more effort into being civil. But ce la vie.
And your damn right im angry. I'm very passionate about human civil rights around the world and get heated very easily when ignorant little pissant Christians like you try and downplay their groups role in the henious crimes of the world. You are no better then a Catholic trying to downplay how severe of a pedo problem the Church has. So. Yea. I get a little heated and passionate. Especially when said pissant purposefully ignores any and all factual evidence ^-^
@nippleswibble, And again. For the record. I would still absolutely love to take you out for a beer. You might come across as an ignorant pissant but I also come across as a condescending, arrogant, insufferable, opinionated arsehole and think we could have a wonderful in depth discussion. After a few beers that is lol. ❤
@LaDarkProphet, @nippleswibble, thank you both for proving my point so thoroughly
I don't care if kids have pride for their same-sex families, my issue comes along with people who use LGBT community as a shield due to protected status, to get away with depravity. Like the Desmond kid who dances at gay clubs with men raining cash on him.
@Oh so cherry, honey, we are into men, not boys. Your issue is with p3dos, not h0mos. 🖕🏻
@Chifilo, nahhh we all saw the song by the San Francisco gay choir saying “we’re coming after your kids.” We all know what the game plan is.
@Chifilo, that may be true, but pedos are hiding behind you guys to get to kids, unfortunately.
@nippleswibble, yep. Especially in the kink scene. though it's no where near as many pedos as the church hides. Just look at how much they have to spend to protect their pedos. The gays don't protect theirs at least.
I love hearing how much the church loves to donate to big law firms instead of the families of the children they abuse.
@Wordsarefun, Pedos are everywhere. To say they’re more prominent in certain groups is a logical fallacy. The difference is, vocal pedos are getting traction through the lgbtq community because who you love is more relative and conditional, whereas, in the church it’s strictly to be between one man and one woman. There’s not a lot of wiggle room there.
@nippleswibble, yah, the church doesn't practice what it preaches. Also every LGBT organization obviously denounces pedophilia. Back to the church, look up the Canadian Indian residential school system. Priests and nuns were raping children, killing them, and putting them in mass Graves. One woman shared a first person account of how a priest raped a woman, got her pregnant, and as soon as the baby was born they tossed it in the furnace. They have found a lot of wiggle room since there isn't any consequences if they get caught. the church protects its own because it's more important that they save face than admit even one priest was a sick pedophile.
@Wordsarefun, it’s unfortunate, disgraceful, disgusting and awful. I agree with you on that. Especially because it’s very specifically condemned by the belief these people claim to have. But, that still doesn’t change the fact that there is a literal pedo movement trying to get traction (and succeeding)… behind the lgbt community. We can point fingers and deflect all day, but what I said is true.
Shut up crocs are the freaking bomb
Comment section, tell me you’ve never been to pride without telling me you’ve never been to pride.
@Chifilo, I don't have that variant of mental issues
At least our pride celebration every year has a family area to take them to with games, rides, and treats. That way same sex parent families can still go celebrate and keep it kid friendly for their little ones.
At least the rainbow colors will be easy to spot in a rifle scope once Civil War 2 starts.
@Bobaganusche88, bruh chill
@Bobaganusche88, O please. The chances of a second civil war are basically 0. Calm your tits, stop drinking the kool aid, put down cod for a while and go out and drink some tea. You will feel better.
I can say from person experience that after a ten hour day hiking crocs are a godsend.
Kinda like religion am I right?
Children that are forced to go to church every Sunday turn out way worse as adults.
@Chifilo, the ones who are forced already know its bull. They turn out fine.
@Chifilo, I think the main issue here is that pride parades and activities are often very sexually explicit, and many folks in the community will agree they are not child friendly.
@madeyoulook2, There are child friendly ones and there are not so child friendly ones. To assume they are all explicit is factually incorrect.
