Look, don't lump the door-to-door fanatics with the rest of us. I would never force my lifestyle on someone else. Be gay and do crime. I don't care.
@18bluecat, Your downvote proves religious zealots have no sense of humor lol. Have an upvote on me ^-^
@LaDarkProphet, downvotes don't bother me but thanks!
@18bluecat, I want "Be gay and do crime, I don't care" written on my tombstone lmao
@LaDarkProphet, you definitely are confused. I’m willing to bet all my life savings that the downvote was from an atheist. As everyone who loves Jesus was about to comment the same exact thing.
@Child Slapper, the fact that he said "zealots" means he's not referring to your average religious person, guy. A zealot would absolutely downvote this.
@LaDarkProphet, yours proves that either some people on this app are zealots, or don't know what zealot means and took it as an attack.
@Mantis Tobaggan, Been on this app a really, really long time. I assure you there are both. Zealots and people who don't know what that word means lol. Have an upvote ❤
@Child Slapper, bruh. Half the people who love Jesus spent literally centuries hating and persecuting gay people. Not sure what you're on about xD
@Child Slapper, I mean, in atheist and I'm pretty much the same way. Everyone can believe what they want, so long as they aren't involving people that don't want to be involved. Praise God, Allah, Buddha, or the Great Spaghetti Monster. Whatever floats your boat man
I’m not a Mormon but they aren’t forcing anything. They ring the doorbell, you tell them you aren’t interested, they say “ok” and walk away.
@Sir Borksalot , Seems pretty forceful when they knock on my god damn door at 6:00 in the morning and I have to ask them what the fvck they want. I don't go to their fing house or church and preach Satanism, or Paganism, or Hinduism. If I did they would scream, cry and bitch that I am forcing those beliefs down their throats. But when they do it, it's magically ok. Bunch of God damn fvcking hypocrites.
@Sir Borksalot , I have so much info about their dirty deeds I don't even know where to begin. Their "mission trips" are ways to go to other countries and steal documents. They took a bunch of docs of dead Jewish people and sent it back to their large archives and "baptized" these dead people into their religion. Why? Who knows, but that's weird and pretty rude to do considering their clear religious beliefs lie elsewhere. They even have records of our family. We've had no luck getting them back. I believe the website they use to make money off of people using all their stolen documents is called familysearch.com
@LaDarkProphet, for the most part I don’t have a problem with a person’s beliefs in religion. From what I’ve seen, it can help bring people together, as long as they do it in a healthy way. It’s only when they try to force it on others and say “yOu dOn’T bEliVe iN OUR rEliGiOn sO yoU’rE gOiNg tO hElL!” When I have a problem with it
@LaDarkProphet, ever thought about treating these people like humans? Unless they're knocking every odd day, you sound like a mad man that has a phobia of religion.
I mean, you put Hinduism in the same subset of "offensive" religions as satanism and paganism. The literal bargain bin flavors edgy teens pick out in hot topic. But you put them on the same level as Hinduism?
You got some problems.
@Sterling M Archer, I have a question, if you don't mind me asking. Christianity specifically believes in a hell, it's in their holy text that those don't believe Jesus Christ died for your sins you'd go to hell.
If someone put that to you liked a loved one. Worryed about your immortal soul. Would you believe just to let them sleep well at night. Or would you deny them, as you would a stranger with the same concern?
@LaDarkProphet, the shouldn’t be knocking on your door at 6:00am because they don’t get up until 6:30 and let me tell you there’s not a one of them who doesn’t value that sleep - former missionary
@That one lurker, deny them. Everyone is allowed to have their own beliefs, but when they force those beliefs onto others or those beliefs will cause harm to others, then there's a problem.
@Albatraous, I may not understand how every one is using "force" as a term. My mind goes to politics and soft power as signs of force. Is simply asking some body about something trying to force them?
I merely ask because of the implications. Grandma asking if I'd like a cookie isn't force, but if she knows your on a diet, does it become force? If it does, then is it cause it's testing your resolve, or is it because you hate her cookies?
If as an atheist, the simplest provocation of merely being asked to listen to some one talk about something is considered forced. Then atheists are the most spineless edge lords on the planet. The equivalent of morally dubious barbarians. Taking to life outside of civilization to try and make a "better culture" with black jack and hookers.
@Sir Borksalot , Just a personal experiance story. One time when I answered the door and politely declined their offer one of them put their foot in the door and his shoulder to prevent me from closing it and began pushing their way into my house to "talk about jesus". I was only about 15 at the time and home alone. So not saying all groups are like this but some are extreamly forceful.
@That one lurker, classy, paganism is a "offensive" religion.
@That one lurker, You are an ignorant, uneducated moron. I was using Hinduism because it is the world's oldest surviving main religion today AND is a foreign eastern religion that 90% of Christians are wholly ignorant of and often see as demonic because they are semi-polytheistic religion with big scary looking Dieties like Shiva. Which, in all honesty, trying to explain to your average Christian that Hinduism is actually a monotheistic religion is like trying to explain to a fish about lava.
I digress. The only person here who has a problem are you and other religious zealots who can't let people live the way they want to. Have a homsexual child? Conversion camp or disowned. Have a different belief? Your wrong and should be eternally punished for it. The list goes on.
I don't have a phobia of religion. But I do get pissed off at ignorant fvcking Christians who think they know everything and believe in their own self righteous superiority.
Not that you can understand such nuances.
@That one lurker, And way to absolutely straw man my entire point in the first place. First off, my point was that these bloody hypocrites would absolutely be crying i was "forcing my beliefs on them" if I went and proselytized a different religion at their homes or churches. That was my original point in the first place. Something you ignored lol. And Secondly, why would I treat someone with respect when they have no respect for anyone or anything but themselves and the people in their flock? Respect has to be earned. And they do not earn my respect.
Mormons and Jehovahs witnesses especially do not have my respect. The way they treat women, the way they treat children etc. The list goes on. Again. Not that an ignorant zealot like you, who has the circle the wagon mentality and who gets all pissy the micro second someone even remotely questions your beliefs, can understand.
@vampirefork, Lol see what I mean? These religious zealots have absolutely no knowledge of anything outside their bubble and sphere of influence. Over 4200 main religions recognized today. And those are just the main recognized umbrella ones lol. There are over 45,000 officially recognized denominations of Christianity alone. All spouting the same thing. Im right, your wrong, don't believe in my exact way and interpretation and you deserve eternal damnation. Smh. There's no talking to these people lol.
@LaDarkProphet, some people are just cunts. A lot use religion as their reason to act that way. I just call out when they're doing it.
@Rowule, I mean... I doubt every place is exactly the same. I grew up in a rural agriculture area where most people are up by 5. So to have some Mormon or JW knocking at 6-6:30 is not to uncommon around where I'm from. And they can get pretty forceful with things like trying to push their way inside etc. Even after you tell them no. Especially with younger people and women.
@That one lurker, from whatvive seen, after they ask, and you tell them you aren't Christian or whatever, they get really upset, cry, kick the person out of their house, or in one case forcefully tried to put a rosary around someone's neck. The sh!t people like that pull can be very manipulative and forceful
@ResGuard, Yes, that would be an example of force.
@LaDarkProphet, because you see me as a "religious zealot" you'll straw man me, dehumanize me, and belittle my knowledge in theology. The mere fact of the matter that you call a Pantheonic faith monotheistic shows you know nothing that I know.
You're an ignorant fool. I wish one day you'll see past your bigotry.
@That one lurker, Actually hindus believe there is only one god. But this God is so vast and incomprehensible that he has many forms and many faces. Each one a facet of himself and each one telling a story. But again. Your uneducated. So thank you for proving my point that trying to explain how Hinduism is technically monotheistic would be like trying to explaining the lava cycle to a fish lol!
And please! Don't project so hard my friend! Only religious people dehumanize others for their beliefs. Calling gay people pedophiles, and telling everyone that they should be groveling 24/7 because we're all sinners etc, etc blah blah. And a religious person calling someone else a bigot is really calling the kettle lol 😂
Seriously. Google, "Hinduism and monotheism" and try to wrap your naive mind around what you read. Ehhhhh who am I kidding. We both know you won't and can't ✌
@vampirefork, to him, he believes that would be offensive to proselytize it to Christians. That's why he'd do it. As he puts it, he believes Christians can't take what they're dishing out. To the contrary, Christians are bombarded by his ilk with things ment to offend our sensibilities.
The mere fact is he put together that list was to be contentious.
As I'll put it, the pagans that I know personally I can count on one hand, the amount of satanists one or two. They was each pieces of work in their own ways. Only losing contact when they moved or screwed me over. One of my pagan friends was a proselytizing person. I was never annoyed by him for doing this.
@LaDarkProphet, a funny way to back handily admit you're religious.
I knew about what you're talking about, but that doesn't stop it from being a pantheonic faith.
But you don't care about nuance, since you're willing to paint every religious person with the same brush.
@That one lurker, O my dear, sweet uneducated boy. More projection I see? That's ok ^-^ You can safely project onto me all you like. Unfortunately for you I might be a little to old for your normal projection audience but thats allright. Ill enjoy it more 😏.
@vampirefork, wow. Holy crap you said it so perfectly. I want to print and frame this comment.
@Mantis Tobaggan, Casting the person out of the house is extreme thou. Taking it at face value, it would depend what the person is becoming if we're talking about generalities. Especially if it is diametrically opposed to your beliefs.
I wouldn't suppose a Christian today would have a problem with there kid became Jewish.
But I'd I suspect they would raise a stink if they choose Islam.
So, under that idea it's understandable why parents would want to stop their child from becoming an atheist.
Because atheism is diametrically opposed to all of deism. Worse of all if individual atheists do not form a cult, then individual interactions with the non collectivized group could not be reliably replicated. Since each person has their own moral code. This is why socialism / communism makes the state the center of the state religion, with the laws as their moral code.
Tldr: no one should kick a kid out, and it's ok to cry. Since it's their choice to go to hell, so be there when they come back.
@LaDarkProphet, yeah, that didn’t happen.
Their rules state they aren’t allowed to leave their residence to proselyte until 10AM at the earliest.
@LyricTerror, there’s records of literally every family on earth. It’s a database that’s freely accessible to everyone.
@Hotchkiz, cool, that doesn't negate that the Church has stolen people's documents and items. If they were free to find, why can't we see our family's? My great grandpa escaped from Russia with his life and would never talk about where his family was. Would be great to know if anyone is still alive. They don't add everything they steal to their database.
@That one lurker, Islam and Christianity are not diametrically opposed you dunce. They literally share 80% of their mythology.
@Hotchkiz, Hate to break your worldview kid but 1) Some people don't follow the rules and 2) Different sects will have different times based on local culture. You can try and deny it all you want but it happens all the time. So good luck with your delusions. And hey since your Mormon shouldn't you be busy abusing women instead of talking to me?
@LaDarkProphet, so, they broke rules that are clearly stated in their handbook of instructions and went to proselyte 30 minutes before it was time for them to even wake up, because people are in the “middle of their day” where you live?
And with your abusing women comment, you’ve chalked up one more complete fabrication.
@Hotchkiz, Don't even know your own religion, its history or its shady past i see. O well. Par for the course really. And believe what you want. You already believe in nonsensical hocus pocus b.s so... Yea guess it might be a stretch for you to comprehend. Man... In your naive world view I guess no one ever breaks the rules or the law etc. Cause its written down. Even if its culturally acceptable for that area. O well. Continue to live in la la fantasy land my friend. You'll grow up one day and see that not everything is sunshine and rainbows and/or black and white.
@Hotchkiz, ya the whole 6am thing seemed like a lie to me. Just from a logicsl point of view, if your goal is to talk to people, why would you start at a time when most people arent even up...
@Mhael, islam reject christ as the messiah, islam believes there is more after the bible, Christian is all about jesus the messiah, christianity believes that that scripture is the final scriptures.
They teach compleatly diffrent means of salvation, diffrent teachings about heaven and hell.
They are opposed to each other.
@phalcon , Lol where I live, rural agriculture community, most people are up by 5:00am. So having people come over for coffee, breakfast, catching up etc at 6-6:30 is pretty common. And I do not know why they knocked on my door at that time because I didn't fing ask them. They came, asked me if I knew Jeebus and I told them to fvck off. That was the end of the interaction. I wasn't exactly going to ask them inside so I can listen to their snake oil salesman pitch now was I? But, it's whatever. I know what happened. You don't. And yall just circling the wagons cause someone dared to make a non-positive comment about your fairy tale. Nothing new.
@phalcon , you've been taught wrong. Islam's hell and heaven are the exact same heaven and hell as Christianity. Their god is the same, Islam believes jesus is a prophet of god, not his son. Christianity believes their scriptures are final, yet they were rewritten and twisted a number of times since they were written.
They both believe in Adam and eve and have nearly identical origin stories for all of humanity, they share the exact same stories about all the previous prophets sent by god, and most of their commandments are identical.
I highly recommend you look up the similarities between these religions instead of looking up the differences. You'll find that they are much much more similar than they are different, but people are taught the opposite just to have these two religions be pitted against each other just because they are the two most dominant religions and provide the largest number of zealots.
@Mhael, no they are not the same at all. Who goes to which one, and why, and what happens there are compleatly different.
The difference are the most important part. Islam teaches good deeds and actions can get you into their version of heaven. Christianity teaches good works do not save you.
And no their god is not the same, Christian's believe jesus is god, muslims do not.
And no they were not rewritten, we can trace back from today to the earliest fragments that they are still consistent until today's.
@phalcon , you are horribly misinformed. I urge you to please stop talking out of your butt and just go and look things up.
Christians believe Jesus is the son of god, which makes him divine, but that god who they believe is the father of Jesus, is the exact same god muslims believe is their god.
Look it up, and please go look up the similarities between those two religions instead of focusing on the differences.
I’d be more likely to let them in if they wanted get me to join the gay agenda rather than church.
@Belzin11584, Lol your downvote proves religious zealots have no sense of humor and no sense of good taste lol. Have an upvote on me 👍
Imagine if scientists went door-to-door like this.
ETA: people took this much more seriously than I intended lol. was thinking how you'd come to the door and they'd be like, "can we interested you in facts about Saturn?"
@LyricTerror, haha no; if you mean theoretical scientists pushing the evolutionary theory, they indoctrinate you in schools instead!! No need to knock on doors!
Actual scientists get shut down because they prove otherwise or aren’t PC enough. But I digress.
@Child Slapper, everything's a theory in theology and evolution. To make absolutes in that area is foolish.
but you can't refute the sun is the distance it is from the earth, or Pluto's orbit, etc. To refute these things is also foolish.
@LyricTerror, it would be hilariously awkward!
@LyricTerror, well, when it comes to the physical world, one of the things scientists are constantly doing is challenging observations and asking questions about why things appear the way they do.
Ironically, when they’re successful they often face ridicule and persecution, a great example is hand washing. The history of hand washing is very interesting and instructive.
I guess my point is that science is not free of the sticky politics of human pettiness any more than religion or government or high school.
@Child Slapper, if you think teaching a scientific theory is indoctrination you should look into the Christian faith a bit more and get back to me.
Note: I am a Christian, but I have a lot of criticisms for organized religion and Christians.
@Mantis Tobaggan, And that's why you had my respect good sir. And they say atheists and Christians can't get along 😂
@LaDarkProphet, haha! My favorite phrase for this is "I believe in God, not religion." I can't stand blind faith, as, in my mind, blind faith is not true faith. Same with patriotism.
I also can't stands hypocrisy or acting like the Bible came down from heaven and is irrefutable. People could have written whatever they wanted in there we don't know
@Mantis Tobaggan, exactly. There's a documentary coming out about how they changed the word "pedophile" to "homosexual" in the Bible when translating it. Doc is called "1946" but it's not out yet.
@LyricTerror, ooooh, when does it come out and where??
@Mantis Tobaggan, look it up on Instagram. It's slowly getting there as they need donations and (last I checked) was looking for an editor.
@LyricTerror, sounds cool. I love documentaries so I'll have to watch it
@Mantis Tobaggan, I have the same criticisms as you, but I went to public school. I have literally been told “they still call it a theory, but it’s fact”
@LyricTerror, I would love to watch this! As I’ve done numerous word studies on the Ancient Greek phrase for homosexual, I’m confident they are in error. Especially since there were Biblical characters that married very young, and ones in their late 20s called children. It just doesn’t make sense. But every instance of homosexuality was considered wrong in every part of the Bible. My best friend is gay and my mom was bi. I love them to death. So I’ve done a lot of homework. That being said, I can’t wait to see that documentary!!
@Child Slapper, I'm more than confident they've done just as much research, if not more, as you have to prove the truth that it was changed. Also, people being gay or bi in your personal circle is pretty irrelevant, and doesn't make your research any better than anyone else's. Don't know what the point of mentioning them was for. Kinda cringe honestly.
@LyricTerror, thanks for the clarification at the top. I'd find it great for scientists to come door to door going "yeah, planets are cool... maybe pluto?" And getting the door slammed in their face.
To the homosexuality comments, I've only spent what I think is the bare minimum of work digging through it, since it reads as self referential.
From what I got is.
A gay rights activist, found a german translation of luthers work. This work was copied around, but didn't make it out of two or three countries.
The translation in question was over a Greek turn of phrase that has no direct translation into latin.(closest is like "men who abuse bed")
Making Luther use the German equivalent to pedophile.
This was sprung up again in 1946, where a gay Christian found that instead of using more accurate euphemistic language. They plainly put homosexual, in one translation. After trading letters with the editor of his case, the error was corrected.
One of the things that spird on the investigation
@LyricTerror, was the discovery of a 1970~ German translation still using pedophile.
The guys making a book.
Here's the article that started me down the road to understand. That these people are nuts, holding on to the loosest bit of straws.
But please, read it, then look into it to find your own opinion.
@That one lurker, Are holding onto the loosest but of straws? Sounds like religious people lol!
@LaDarkProphet, if it sounds like your self then fine, self identify how ever you want. You're still a manic atheist zealot that seeks a sadistic thrill over having the last word, regardless of how pointless or petty.
@That one lurker,
Not manic, nor a zealot, or even really a hard-core atheist. More of a agnostic atheist personally. But what I am is really good at calling out hypocrites and religious morons, like yourself and Cave Dweller. Two peas in a pod you two.
Both are absolutely moronic and can do nothing but get butt hurt over everything and spout the same tired old drivel time and time again... Kinda like your religion actually. A sad, pathetic, archaic memory of humanity's more primitive past that you lot can't comprehend living without. I actually feel sorry for you. I really do. You and all the zealots out there. So angry and bitter and hateful. Sounds like a sad miserable existence to me.
Imagine going through the day mad and upset over what other people are doing. Especially things that are not only out of your control but none of your fvcking business.
I feel sorry for you. I really and truly do. One day, though unlikely, you'll grow up and put down the bronze age fairy tale.
@LaDarkProphet, do you ever look in the mirror? Your rude, arrogant, condescending... overall you just come across as an awful person.
Do you ever stop to think, if the alternative to christianity is being a person like you... your setting such an awful example, that no one would want to be like you?
This is a massive misrepresentation of what's going on. They are disproportionately putting gay people into movies, books, shows, advertising.. Etc.
They want their own month, they want to push their way into school teachings, churches, and other places.
While they make up a small portion of the population.
It's literally being pushed down people's throats. A couple of guys walking up to your door, and asking if you want to hear about their religion is so drastically different.
@thatoneguymaybe, Actually its worse. I can just not watch the T.V, go to that movie, go to a different school, church etc. If need be. But outside of "Trespassers Will Be Shot" signs, not a whole lot I can do to dissuade people from knocking on my door at 6:00 in the morning to talk about their bullshiite.
And im sorry gay people you know... Existing in the general hemisphere that is cultural media is so upsetting to you but they do actually in fact exist in reality and having gone for nearly 150ish years of having little to no representation AT ALL is a little bit understandable why its sort of celebrated now.
But again, if your so butt hurt about it then don't watch, listen, go etc. etc. But people going out of their way to trespass on my property to proselytize their b.s is entirely different. Imagine the fing uproar if someone went around your town proselytizing homosexuality by going door to door. Stop with the hypocritical b.s (TBC)
And to add to your b.s hypocrisy even further religious people have their books, movies, tv shows, radios, billboards, Churches everywhere, government sanctioned holidays, massive parades etc. You are a massive fing hypocrite. Its totally fine for me to walk down the road and see three churches, two religious billboards (one of which admonishes homsexuals) and more. And thats ok. But a single tiny out of the way gay bar opens up and you lot lose their collective minds and start screaming the gay agenda is being forced down your throat. It would be hilarious if it wasn't so fing sad.
@LaDarkProphet, Oh, I'm on board with just not watching, and going somewhere else, even if that has limits sometimes.
However, how often do people come to your door like that? Is it really at 6AM? You are far more likely to encounter 10 movies with a disproportionate amount of gay people, than to encounter a religious person at your door, trying to convert you.
You are assuming that it's a problem with them existing. I was talking about what the meme was referencing, which is that it's being showed into people's faces, and down their throats.
Many of us just want to not be inundated with the lifestyle. Many of us aren't fond of it, but don't bother anyone about it.
Just because they didn't get any before, doesn't mean they have to get all of the attention now.
Funny you would make the comparison of coming onto your property. First off, they can come on your property, you can just tell them to leave.
@LaDarkProphet, But if gay people go teach your kids in school, and are teaching them about being gay, and sticking carrots in their butt(No joke), then it's far worse than someone stepping onto your property.
Yes, you can change schools, unless they start adding it to the next, or changing laws to make it mandatory across schools.
You can out up trespassing signs, but you can't stop the influence.
Your comparison to there being books, movies, shows, radios, billboards, and churches.
It's not being shoved down anyone's throat. Billboards would be the only thing.
Books, Movies, Shows, Radios are all in their own little sphere. You have to go to specific stores to get Christian books, specific studios for Christian Movies, specific stations for shows, or radios..etc.
But for gay stuff, it's across all other mainstream radios/movies/shows.. Etc.
You are assuming that I get upset about a gay bar opening?
That was never a topic I mentioned, and a huge assumption.
@thatoneguymaybe, Citation needed and evidence required for your "teaching gay in schools" b.s comment. I've seen it spouted around a few times but all its ever led to was a whole lot of nothing. So would love to see your "evidence" for that... Statement.
And absolute fing bullshiite. I cannot even begin to describe your moronic mental gymnastics required for your other statements. Absolute massive hypocrite. Show me your "evidence" first and if you do/can then ill talk more about my other points of contention with the rest of your moronic ramblings.
@LaDarkProphet, It's so great to see how you respond to things like this. You require a citation for one singular point, before you respond to the rest?
That's very unique. Are you incapable of defending the rest? You don't even ask nicely to see a citation, you immediately attack.
Is that all you have? For all of your spastic explosions, you haven't actually countered with anything reasonable. Nor have you followed a logical trail of thought.
In good faith, here is two sources for you from LA: Twitter.com/TomasMorale_iv/status/1406277808528125952/photo/1
This isn't referencing the thousands of videos posted online by LGBT teachers, talking about their teaching of young children.
If you don't respond to the other points, I can only assume that you had no intention to continue there, as it's a losing battle for you.
@thatoneguymaybe, Hold your panties. Let me check your "sources" but the fact its fing Twitter and Heritage.org screams biased over exaggeration. But I will do my due diligence and check it out. In good faith.
And please. This isn't a battle or some great intellectual debate. This is a pissing contest on a meme app. And let's just be intellectually honest here for a sec. You do not care about any point I could ever possibly make because you are so indoctrinated into your belief system that anything that questions it acts like culture shock to you and you will just hand wave, cherry pick or back peddle any argument i can make. Or outright ignore it like you already have. So. Brb. Lemme check.
@LaDarkProphet, Well, at least you admit you don't consider this anything other than a pissing contest. I'm having an honest, intellectual conversation, you are the one making it a pissing contest.
I do care, if it actually has basis in facts, logic, and reason.
You are once again making a lot of assumptions.
You claim in indoctrinated in my beliefs, are you ignoring the fact that you are indoctrinated in your beliefs?
I can only speak for myself, but my learning in school was based on an open discussion, and we learned more than one side, in full context.
You have been the only one to cherry pick here. I haven't purposely ignored anything, if I missed something, you can let me know.
If you don't intend to have anything other than a "pissing contest", they I have no need to participate further. This is simply a waste of time, with someone who admits it's just that.
I have a Discord open to people who want to actually discuss, without the obnoxious attitudes.
@thatoneguymaybe, O yea you are taking this way to seriously. I don't pretend to be some herald or paragon of great intellectual conversation. Im just a random opinionated hick from the boonies. You trying to make this out to be some great, historic ground breaking intellectual discussion, like the amazing Bill Nye V Ken Ham debate, is like trying to make a dirt race track out to be the Daytona 500.
I'm more into casual, often heated, open conversations. So good luck with all your b.s elsewhere. Still gunna check out your "evidence" but that's about the extent of it. Good luck with... All that 👆
@LaDarkProphet, Well, maybe you should preface your comments with "I'm just here for a pissing contest"
Because there are people who actually want to converse.
You provided nothing to it.
I'm not at all trying to make it out to be like that, stop making these things up.
Bill Nye v Ken Ham, that's an interesting example, since Nye isn't even a Biological scientist, I never understood why he went in to that, nor why people think it was historical.
You are welcome to your preferences, but those are conversations, not pissing contests like you were just involved in.
Maybe state your business first, instead of wasting time? I don't mean to sound like a broken record here, just making sure it's clear.
Good luck with your pissing contests.
If you actually want to have a proper conversation, just hit me up, I made a Discord for that reason.
Plus you can respond to everything you hadn't already. Which is funny, because I called it. So thanks for living up to expectations I guess?
Not even the same group of people, assholes.
@Child Slapper, wait, what? Are mormons not religious?
@Mantis Tobaggan, Nah he is probably saying that this particular photo of these particular religious door knockers are actually Jehovas Witnesses and not Mormons, which is another, but different, sect of religious door knockers lol.
@LaDarkProphet, ah OK, maybe he will clarify later but I don't know the difference from a glance
@Mantis Tobaggan, Ehhh i can normally tell them apart but sometimes even i misjudge. But I'm pretty sure these are, in fact, Mormons. Hair is just a little to neat and their clothes a little to nice. And the tie.
@Mantis Tobaggan, the Mormons aren’t the ones saying “they’re pushing their lifestyles on us!” The Mormons are quite peaceful. So are the jehovah’s.
It’s the old crusty baptists that are scared of homosexuals.
@Child Slapper, ooooh ok gotcha. Thanks for clearing that up.
As a former Baptist, can confirm.
@Child Slapper, no one is afraid of homosexuals, disagreeing with their life choices doesnt make someone scared of them. Aka phobic.
@phalcon , motherfuсker, I know what I said. Let me tell you. My wife grew up in a strict Baptist household. She was homeschooled and didn’t get out much. I met her at Bible College. We got married. This woman was afraid of homosexuals because her family essentially equated them to rapists. I’m a Christian. My best friend is gay, and she was worried he would rape me! And any girl who was a lesbian actually gave her FEAR!!
I had to invite many gay people over to teach her to get over it. THAT! Is the result of crusty Baptist indoctrination.
Anyways, our upstairs neighbors are gay married men and she hates them!!
Not because they’re gay; because they party until late and wake up our baby! FUСК THEM!!
@phalcon , so you are wrong. MOST people aren’t afraid of homosexuals. But there are a small number in these rural areas that certainly are. I’d also call them legalists and the true hypocrites that are the reason most Christians get flack.
Also gay people: “In addition to having our own media, entertainment, and ‘Pride’ Parades, (where no one interferes) we demand ‘representation’ in ALL other parades, AND movies, shows, stage performances, advertising, music, children’s cartoons, children’s programing, children’s education, ESPECIALLY retroactive deconstruction of famous established characters, AND we demand we be allowed to teach your elementary children about anal sex and sex with adults while demonstrating the ‘tools of the trade’ against the wishes of parents where any who object will be vilified, their workplace harassed until that parent loses livelihood or they learn to submit— ALL while gaslighting anyone who disagrees with this agenda as ‘paranoid,’ ‘fear-mongering,’ ‘bigotry,’ and all manner of ‘ist-a-phobe.’ We also demand society change it’s languages/customs and distort science to accommodate us.
‘We’re coming for your kids’ and if you don’t like it, you’re a bigot.”
[…]-sexuality has become religion.
@Cave Dweller, ‘gay’ people don’t “just exist.”
@Cave Dweller, Also Religious People: In addition to having our own media, entertainment, radio shows, parades, tax havens, tax refunds, we demand the right to further refuse medical treatments for our children under religous beliefs like blood transfusions that literally kills hundreds of children a year, we also demand that every human on the planet bow to our religion or suffer literal eternal torture for daring to disagree with our beliefs. Because our beliefs are the only ones that matter. We will put up bill board signs advocating conversion therapy camps, and call all homsexuals pedophiles as a way to further vilify them, and we demand your children attend our school so we can tell them they deserve eternal hellfire for being born human 24/7."
ALL while gaslighting anyone who disagrees with all this agenda as 'intolerant', "fear-mongering", "paranoid", and all manner of "ist-a-phobe". We also demand society change its laws and customs to accommodate our religious beliefs.
@Cave Dweller, Lol its funny. Christians love talking about how horrible Islam is when in reality they wish they could do things like enact a theocracy where they can physically punish and kill people for going against the religion. It amazes me you Christians will point out Sharia Law as inhumane but salivate at the idea of a Christian equivalent. Smh. Absolute hypocrites.
"Coming for your kids" indeed. To my knowledge its actually Christians who ahem... Come for kids. And o boy do they try to hide it. Must be projection. Calling homsexuals pedophiles when in reality children are in bigger danger of their priests and close religious family members then your average homsexual.
Makes me real curious about what else you could be projecting Dweller 🤔 Real curious indeed.
@Cave Dweller, they don't teach anal sex in schools, nor sex with adults, if you have an example, such as an assignment that a student received. Please show me.
What science did the gays have changed?
The gay community certainly has its problems, but a lotnof what you said sounds made up but I would be glad to listen to any examples or evidence you bring forth.
@LaDarkProphet, prediction. He's going to come in here and call us idiots while providing no examples of what he is talking about and say something like "just observe, examples are all around. If you don't see that you're an idiot. Be well."
@LaDarkProphet, brainless parrot. First begin with understanding that societies exist because of, and not despite, religion— regardless what other ills it brought. Taxes? Irrelevant.
Refusal of medical treatment occurs for all manner of excuse for which ‘belief’ is but only one— see ‘vaxx status,’ current year.
“Because our beliefs are the only ones that matter. We will put up bill board signs advocating conversion…” like the okCupid ads?
“ConversionTherapy” is ridiculous, although, you should see what’s happening at Minnesota public schools. Homosexuals don’t need “conversion.” They need help and/or medicine or to simply be left alone. Theirs is a personal, and should be private, affliction.
Don’t like eternal hellfire? Don’t pray to that god. But gays demand inclusion there too.
The rest is parroted gibberish and lazy projection.
Religions are intolerant of each other and you are a zealot. You are what you think you hate.
Please continue to show everyone why NPCs are jokes.
@Mantis Tobaggan, Fing called it! Your prediction was 100% spot on!
@LaDarkProphet, I've had my fair share of arguments with him. He isn't complex or hard to predict lol. He never fails to Crack me up
@Mantis Tobaggan, Same lol. He never ceases to amuse me.
Your a good bloke. Next time I have a drink I'm toasting to your health 🍻
@LaDarkProphet, same! Pretty sure Dweller just got sick of me making him look foolish and ignores me now lol.
@Mantis Tobaggan, Wish he would do that with me! Though I'm probably not as eloquent as you. I struggle to get my point across sometimes lol.
@LaDarkProphet & @Mantis Tobaggan
Home Movies’ Walter and Perry.
One, an idiot that can do no more than incorrectly regurgitate what is said and the other, a babbling moron who wishes to be ignored, but for lack of ‘eloquence.’
These are NPCs. See why they’re so easily ‘amused’ here:
@Cave Dweller, haha! I don't want to be ignored! It's harder to laugh at you that way.
Also, no evidence or examples? You are just kind of saying stuff as usual? Ok gotcha.
@LaDarkProphet, my best friend in high school was religious, one of those 7th day Adventist. She got me to go to her church a few times and that's when I met Luke. A good looking guy around our age who certainly knew it and had deep roots with his family at that church so he was a golden child there, and boy did he wear that. Such a cocky little cunt. I immediately had bad vibes from him from first meeting him.
A couple years later and he's a real fùck up but the church wants him to become a pastor or whatever they call it in the church. But my friend had saw him post on MySpace literally bragging how he molested a 9yo girl when he was 17. She gets a screenshot of it and her mom sets up a meeting with the heads of their church.
Their response? "God forgives him."
My friend and her family left that church. Reported him to the police (nothing came about it which is messed up).
@Cave Dweller, yes they do literally just exist, and homosexuality can be found in many mammal species, not just humans.
@LyricTerror, I'm not even surprised. Not even a little bit. And tbats heartbreaking
@LyricTerror, Don't bother with Cave my friend. He is one of those uneducated, back water, evangelical types. O sure he copy pastes things with the best of them and yea he does often use big fancy words he hears being used by people like Rush Limbaugh but he doesn't actually understand them.
Just do what everyone else does and ignore his moronic ramblings lol. He is our resident Funny Pics Alex Jones.
@LaDarkProphet, rush Limbaugh died their new "rush" is that Crowder cunt.
@LyricTerror, Well.... Unlike Cave Dweller, ol Crowder does, very rarely mind you, make some good points. Like when he barged into that SJW place in his underwear to show the toxic side of Body Positivity? That was pretty dope.
@LyricTerror, a personal, albeit sad, irrelevant story. It would appear, however, your intuition about this “good looking guy around our age” was right. Perhaps there is something to judging a book by its cover after all.
“Animal homosexuality” occurs for reasons homosexuals would never want to admit. It’s a shame it is used as propaganda to justify their choices.
@LaDarkProphet would describe me as “uneducated, back water, evangelical types,” I’ll leave judgment of that to you. As exercise, read these interactions and identify the parrot NPCs for yourself. Either way, you should take your friend’s advice, and ignore what you don’t understand. Of course, you should keep in mind, those most loudly giving you this advice seem to have the hardest time following it.
I wish you better luck than you’ve had.
@Cave Dweller, looks like @Lyric Terror has resorted to parroting me as well to the @Child Slapper above. See above irrelevant personal anecdote “My best friend in high school.”
“Kinda cringe honestly.” Pathetic indeed.
Liberals truly are incapable of shame or self-reflection.
Edit: to address another otherwise irrelevant point brought up by the idiot @LaDarkProphet, and no doubt shared by other idiots on this topic, note the ‘sexuality’ or sexual preferences of the pedophile priests referenced. It would appear homosexuality takes precedence over other religious convictions.
Islam needs no help from Christians, or anyone else, to condemn themselves in the eyes of the world- ask China or India.
As for Alex Jones, he seems to have been proven right about a great many things.
@LaDarkProphet, you're a liar, real Christian's dont want a theocracy where we can kill people.
Why?if we kil someone they never will have a chance to repent and be saved,
We also know that believe has to be freely made, and that by force, is wrong
Also we are taught in scripture, that Christian's will never be the majority, so we would never be in a position in power.
We are also taught if we arent welcome somewhere, to shake the dust off our shoes and move along.
@phalcon , I... Im laughing so hard im fing crying.... Holy... Shiite. I mean... I knew you were an illogical cool aid drinking really brainwashed fvck but that... just takes the cake. Just about everything you said is 100% a lie. And a stupid one at that. Or your really, really uneducated about your own religious history... Which is so common among Christians im not even surprised anymore.
First off? The number one main religion in the world right now and hass been for the past 200ish years, is Christianity. Maybe not your particular denomination, but definitely the religion as a whole. Considering there are over 45,000 different recognized denominations of Christianity its no wonder its the largest. So... That 100% is a factual lie. You uneducated moronic dunce.
2nd. I feel like a broken record. Witch hunts, crusades, inquisitions, etc. Yall been killing people in the name of your religion for thousands of years. The Spanish Inquisition would literally torture people into (TBC)
@phalcon , (CON)
claiming they were now Christian, forcing them to denounce their faith through torture before killing them as a way to "save" them. Btw? Their primary target was Jewish people.
I could literally go on for hours explaining why your comment is completely and 100% moronic and just outright false. But I don't really want to talk to bold face liars and ignorant morons of this magnitude.
O sure you put in "real Christians" as a bypass so you can just hand wave and say every Christian person who did a bad is not a Christian but that is an outright "No True Scotsman" fallacy. Google that you ignorant welp. 45,000 different denominations. Some are not going to agree with you and are still Christian despite that. Go talk to Cave Dweller for a bit. I mean... wtf... "Christians will never be the majority, so we would never be in a position of power..." has got to be the most idiotic statement I've heard from a Christian in a long, long time 😂
@LaDarkProphet, the no true scotsman fallacy doesnt apply here. The no true scotsman fallacy depends as no objective definition of what a true scotsman is.
In contract to a scotsman being a subjective thing, objectively what a christian is is defined in scripture.
So all those examples you gave? The bible itself condemns.
The problem with people like you, is you hate christianty so much, you only look at the evidence that hells you back up that claim. And when I say you people, I'm also referring to myself. I was very much once like you. Any evidance to the contrary I ignored.
But what I came to realize is there are evil people in the world, who hijacked concepts of christianity and used it for evil.
But I realized you cant judge true christianity based on what evil people have done with it, and how they twisted it.
Your basiclly going to the grocery store and point out a rotten piece of fruit, and then saying that rotten piece of fruit is an example of the fruit is normally.
@phalcon , Lol whatever man. We have been down this road before. You have drank to much kool aid. Im done arguing with moronic, inbred, religious zealots. Peace the fvck out.
This is how a career in porno starts
@werp zerp snickel, great movie.
@Cave Dweller, good point.
In our defense most Christians don’t count Mormons as Christians
@madeyoulook2, There are 45,000 different officially recognized denominations of Christianity. Course you can try, pathetically, to claim their not "real Christians" because this bs reason or another but that is 100% a "No True Scotsman" fallacy. Google it. A lot of protestants don't count as Catholics as "real Christians" either. And the JW believe no one is a real Christian anyway. So... Take that information and use it as you will. Good luck with it ✌
