As long as in your heart you know you're a filthy weeb.
In other news: has anyone seen “The Idaten Deities Know only Peace”?
Only 1 season this year, but man it was trippy! Not the best I’ve seen, but the concept is screwed up and quite intriguing at the same time! Plus the opening is my favorite at the moment! Anyways, check it out! Action, fantasy, strategy!
@Child Slapper, The OP is fire!
The bottom one was this girl I dated in high school. She acted very athletic and preppy but her bedroom at home was entirely anime and manga and she made every effort she could to not let it leave her bedroom. It was very weird
@TriangleTesticles, I understand. There's various social pressures to keep things hidden, and like the bottom implies, sometimes it's less about not being shamed and more about keeping yourself out of groups you don't want to be a part of. This seems to be especially true for women, who are more often condescended to or harassed the moment they announce they're a part of niche culture, which is a shame because interest in those niche cultures can sometimes begin as a means of escapism.
Junji ito books? Good choices
Me: "I may be a filthy weeb, but at least I don't like moe!"
