Don't threaten me with a good time
I was one of the lucky ones who could work remote, but I really do feel for people who lost their jobs, businesses, etc. I hope if the governments try to pull that bullsh!t again, Americans just say, “thanks, but no” and then everyone just carries on with their bad selves.
@Snarfel Burger, I hope so as well, and with many moving states, i don't it'll help.
@That one lurker, Yeah, i’ve been pretty disappointed with how easy it’s been to control Americans. I used to think they were bred with an almost petty distrust in government. Bright side, I think it will be harder to lock people down again, not easier. (I hope)
@Snarfel Burger, we send kids to a school from age 6-18. They come out so stupid we need to send them two or 4 year College to get them even dumber.
The mere fact that America is not under complete control right now shows how hard it is.
But we need to shore up our defenses against China and rip out the racist that want to teach black nationalism in schools.
To specify in short, a group of black ethnic nationalists hated the liberalist civil rights movement. So created doctrine off of understanding the world through the lens of law, calling at Critical Race Theory. It was made with the explicit purpose of critiquing the Civil Rights movements. Complaining about how everything has it been peachy keen after 4-6 years of desegregation. Putting forward how black kids where performing terribly in schools because they was "W"hite spaces. And how Black kids being forced to learn White culture was causing a Black genocide.
The basic portions of these texts are being taught to kids.
@That one lurker, Agreed! The fact that America is even still standing after decades of brainwashing and subversion, shows they were right when they said America is the beneficiary of Divine Providence.
I will say, it may be black ethnic nationalists but what all these leftwing groups have in common are their Marxist ideologies. The Black Panthers, Weather Underground, Feminist movement, LGBT, Antifa, and other movements from the 60s and on all share that commonality. So many of their leaders are self-avowed communists (it’s not just BLM). The communists quickly learned that they couldn’t use their normal tactic of “rich vs poor” to turn Americans against eachother. They’ve tried and it just barely takes hold in the US (probably too much comparative prosperity) but they did figure out that they could use America’s troubled racial past. Instead of “rich vs poor” it’s “black vs white”. You’re right, the CRT ideology is racist, but I think it’s just a tool in a more sinister arsenal.
Not an introvert, but how I would love traffic to go back to how it was during the lockdown...
Lock me down and I will become more powerful than you can imagine.

I like the "made with depression" tag in the lower left.
I was lucky, my business did much better in lockdown
I wouldn't mind some extra time off work
I work in construction and we were told to just carry on by the government and employers said they would replace us if we don't work so this means nothing to me
Outside Me: "Oh. This isn't good."
