@Cave Dweller, The vaccine is just meant to lessen the effects of the virus to keep you from fully dying. If your mask is nothing but tissue, you're not wearing an actual mask. I've literally never heard of hand sanitizer and food touching each other, that just sounds like fear-mongering or spreading lies to make others sound like idiots. Unless you grow your own food from scratch, other people will always be touching your stuff.

@Fvck Younicorn, If that was all the âvaccineâ was âmeantâ for, it wouldnât be a vaccine, itâd be a therapeutic, and thereâd be neither basis nor need for mandates, ultimatums, or lockdowns. The most commonly used masks are multi-ply tissue âsurgicalâ masks, and are useless against viruses. In fact, no mask, absent a full hazmat suit, could even slow -let alone protect- against the spread of airborne viral pandemic. âFear-mongeringâ would better apply to wide-spread hysteria, mandates, and lock-downs over a nearly harmless disease than to someoneâs anecdotal witness report of some poor panicked soul driven to extreme misuse of hand sanitizers as a result of the now perpetual hyperventilation over bs âvariants.â Anyone concerned about person-to-person contagion should rather prefer restricting outside contact with their food to pre-cooked and pre-packaged food containers. Fearing contagion but ignoring unknown food handlers touching food AFTER cooking is incongruous. Itâs dumb.

@Cave Dweller, dude, the mask isnât meant to stop you from getting the virus, itâs to stop you from spreading it. You wear it for the benefit of other people. Thatâs why they said it âslows the spreadâ rather than âprotects against.â I get it, though. Thereâs a lot of weird information out there so itâs hard to make sense. And a lot of people are just⌠tired. I just lost a family member to this thing and even Iâm getting tired. But câmon, man- weâre so close.

@Fvck Younicorn, agree, but I do have to give him that a lot of the vocal people are making it seem that vaccinated people are safe to be around and unvaccinated people are not. My lady is vaccinated and got Covid. Maybe it helped, maybe it didnât, we will never truely know because she didnât have Covid prior so thereâs no baseline for the effects it would have had before vs what it did have after the vaccine. IMO if the vaccine is meant to reduce the effects rather than block the virus completely, then people need to stop acting like itâs other vaccines that require communal vaccination because this one clearly does not. The arguments on both sides have been pretty stupid tbh.

@dandyhandy, FIRST- regardless of how our interaction may unfold here, Iâll assume the sincerity of your personal story (that it is not another âmy son died after vax but I canât wait to get my other kids vaccinatedâ propaganda) and offer my genuine condolences for your loss. Itâs a tragedy too many will come to know. On the topic, masks do not stop, or even slow, the contraction or spread of virus. Incidentally, neither do the âvaccines.â In fact, masks are being credited with spreading disease. There is a great deal of âmis/dis-information,â but it is not coming from the skeptical or the âhesitant.â If you âget itâ you should know, the only thing we are âso closeâ to is the establishment of ubiquitous âsocial creditâ surveillance and loss of whatever is left of Americaâs Constitutional freedoms. The reckless indiscriminate application of an untested infusion opaque to public scrutiny leaves little room to the imagination for conspiracies. We đ˘đłđŚ close. âSo close.â

"Hey this is a funny meme about stupid people. I wonder what people are saying in the comments". *Comments immediately become about politics for no reason* "Well that's a shame".
