If im pro vaccine, but also pro natural immunity, while being anti vax mandate. Am i now an anti vaxer?
@Sharts Galore , that’s just pro giving everyone else a headache while they work it out.
@Sharts Galore , yes. The mandate is more important than the vaccine.
@Sharts Galore , Merriam-Webster's Dictionary changed the definition of anti vaxxer to include any individual that opposes vaccine mandates.
So yes, welcome to being the problem. The Nazis will not pass over your door and you will be put in the gulags.
@That one lurker, i guess i should start closely following people in walmart. ANTI VAXERS UNITE! lol never thought id say that.
@That one lurker, does no one remember than the Nazis were actually against vaccines because doctors tend to be Jewish and there was propaganda about them poisoning people through vaccines?
Just me remembering this? Hitler went on a whole spiel about it. There were propaganda posters that literally said don't vaccinate.
@LyricTerror, you clearly don't understand that no one cares about actual historical facts, just their bs spin of comparing "the other side" to Nazism. I hold that if people don't want vaccines because "big pharma", then they don't get treatment because big pharma make those too. Stand by your beliefs I say.
@TheMonkeyGod, perfectly said. I'm also in agreement of that.
@LyricTerror, i think the key is that hitler used it to divide people. Ploys and lies could be used in either direction. Ie. It could be said that its more hitler like to manipulate studies that go out to the public, ban opposing opinions from media sites by crediable sources (doctors from Harvard for example), and (as a government agency) convience one group of people that the other group is evil.
Im pro vaccine, but as a young healthy, skinny dude that already has natural immunity from before the vax was available. Theres no statiscal or logical reason for me to get it, so im not going to. Its not hitler like to want to be left alone.
@Sharts Galore , virology teaches you that viruses don't care how young and healthy you are. If they want to harm and even kill you... they'll find a way. I was a very health 20yo who exercised daily and ate very healthy working at a fine dining restaurant with quality sourced veggies, fruits, meats, etc. Then I got the flu virus and almost died. I was never sick otherwise.
This is why the measles vaccine is very important, as that virus erases your immune system's entire memory of every bacteria and virus it's protected you against in the past, leaving you as vulnerable as a newborn. Then it just keeps attacking you. Viruses can also hide in other immune systems in your body, such as your eyes, and then just when you think your body has fought it off, it comes out of the woodwork again for another battle.
Tl;Dr: life, uh, finds a way.
As for Hitler and his anti-vax ways, the propaganda and his quotes are out there to read if you have the time. It's pretty interesting.
@Sharts Galore , what's also funny is before I became obsessed with learning everything about virology and vaccine development 15 years ago, I was a serious anti-vaxxer myself, and became obsessed with learning all of it to prove they were harmful. It lead to me learning how everything actually works, meeting vaccine developers personally who tell me how they do their job, other scientists, medical professionals, and becoming a staunch vaccine supporter. So when I'm always told to "do my research" I have to chuckle... because I did! They're just mad because my research resulted in not agreeing with their beliefs.
@LyricTerror, Hitler went through all kinds of spiels, the man was unhinged. Alot of people just use the nazi party as the best example of what is or they percieve as fascism. Fascism not necessarily always being things Hitler himself did obviously, because again the man was bonkers
@Medic135, lol very well said.
I do have Jewish family myself, whom have had their family killed in Aushwitz, and they're all pretty sick of the whole "Everyone who disagrees with me is a NAZI" shtick. They've had it done to them, too. They're also sick of the crazy anti-vaxxers comparing themselves to holocaust victims.
Everyone needs to take a friggin' chill pill and reality check.
@LyricTerror, are you pro vaccine mandate now then? Specifically for covid, even in relation to the omicron variant? do you think natural immunity should be taken into account for mandates?
@Sharts Galore , I support the Jacobson v Massachusetts ruling of mandates being approved on a state by state basis and not controlled federally. You're free to not follow mandates and you're free to not vaccinate, but you can't complain about the consequences of your choices. Real life doesn't cater to your views and beliefs and it's the local government's job to ensure everyone is safe, not just certain individuals.
I support this for all vaccines.
As for omicron, this may be the variant we've been hoping for. More contagious, but much less severe than the original virus that showed up two years ago. We could have a Christmas miracle on our hands! Let's hope. 😊
@LyricTerror, i totally agree. The scary part for me is how authoritarian the federal government is becoming. They need to do more research on matural immunity. They need to be more transparent and consistent with the science and with regulations. If omicron ends up whiping out alpha and delta, and is less deadly than the flu then we dont need vaccine mandates or passports. Or we should have vaccine mandates and passports for the flu too.
@Sharts Galore , it's 2021 we shouldn't be having any deaths for covid AND flu, but sadly we lose many to both. Vaccines for flu would work more efficiently if people would actually get them. Vaccines slow mutations. I agree with flu vaccine mandates.
The biggest misinformation is that people get sick from the flu from the vaccine but that's literally impossible as the vaccines do not use the whole virus. It uses an attenuated piece of the virus that just enough to teach your immune system to fight it. That's like saying you read this reply on a piece of your broken phone. The sniffles and slight sore throat you get means it worked.
@LyricTerror, this is the literal first time that I'm hearing of this nonsense.
Goebbels position was to divide the German people to keep the ancient Aryan race pure.
As f@cking psycho as that is, it was done do dividing the nation from the 1%.
A foreign group of untrustworthy outsiders that lead quiet, but influential, lives.
Goebbels ran a propaganda campaign to deep for normal comprehension. Where truth and lies was one or neather depended upon what the party said.
To make clear, he had nearly 20yrs to force this onto children. So it is understandable how propaganda like that came about.
Since they also spread lies about Jews being covered in fleas infected by typhus.
So understand, the Nazi party are the last people you'd speak to to understand what the Nazi party is about.
Even so, I tried looking up here claim and the only news outlets I really came across talking about this was the Jacobin.
Was that where you got this info?
@That one lurker, no I got it from my dad from one of his many WW2 books he had and he made me read (and I'm glad he did). Let me try to find the quote.
@That one lurker, under "22nd July 1942 after dinner" of the book 'Hitler's Table Talks' that describes secret conversations Hitler says:
"In all seriousness, however, there is a very real danger that
these local inhabitants will increase too rapidly under our care
and domination. Their conditions of life will inevitably im-
prove under our jurisdiction, and we must take all the measures
necessary to ensure that the non-German population does not
increase at an excessive rate. In these circumstances, it would
be sheer folly to place at their disposal a health service such as
we know it in Germany; and so—no inoculations and other
preventative measures for the natives! We must even try to
stifle any desire for such things, by persuading them that
vaccination and the like are really most dangerous !"
@LyricTerror, link to the book with the quote highlighted:
@LyricTerror, first off, that link is utter bullsh!t. The site is so f@cked, only allowing you to read one page. F@ck that noise.
Hitler is being 200% pro vax here. Because the surrounding context of the conversation is over population control of the ukrainians.
The first section alone, before the " in all seriousness" is Hitler talked about a mass contraception campaign made by a doctor he was reading. Where Hitler then joked about getting Jews involved cause they've "a good sense of commerce."
Then after the quote that you presented, he starts talking about how to control the populace by keeping to uneducated, by using soft education.
"But there is no need to teach them much more
than, say, the meaning of the various road-signs. Instruction in
geography can be restricted to one single sentence : The Capital
of the Reich is Berlin, a city which everyone should try to visit once in his lifetime."
So how can you say that he's anti-vax from a set of quotes about him understanding
@That one lurker, how effective they are.
@That one lurker, he used anti-vax tactics to convince others to not vaccinate, was against vaccines when given by Jewish doctors while also denying them to the "natives" but then also wanted them for only the Aryan Germans. In other words... He was insane. We covered that part before you commented. So yes, I consider him an anti-vaxxer for saying vaccines given by Jews are "poison".
The link works fine for me and still does when checking again. You can even read the whole book on it. Don't know what to tell you with that. 🤷♀️
@LyricTerror, ok mother f@cker, I'll put this bluntly.
"was against vaccines when given by Jewish doctors"
Just f@cking maybe.
Had a problem with anti-semitism.
"Was against vaccines when given by JEWISH doctors"
On top of that nothing in your quotes leads towards any of those directions.
You're pulling bullsh!t from thin air to make a comparison that fits your preconceived notions.
@That one lurker, he's an antisemite and an antivaxxer, along with being batshìt crazy. I said this was discussed above. I also provided a link to an anti-vax propaganda poster from the Nazis for your own eyes to view.
To be against vaccines because of who's giving them, while still supporting the "real" vaccines for you is anti-vax nonsense that can still be found said in their circle jerk groups today. Antisemitism is found there in droves, as well. He was an anti-vax nut job and I'll continue to call him one. It's not as if I came up with it on my own, as many agree with it. He even waved away mandates for Germans to get a vaccine for smallpox during an outbreak at the time.
You know the name of the book. it's easy to find a free way to read it yourself. as I said, it's not my problem you can't figure out how to get it to work.
Ad hominen means you can be emotional about this conversation with yourself. I'll no longer be responding.
@LyricTerror, because you have no real agrumemt to back up your claim.
That's why you'll " no longer be responding", it's not because you got caught in partisan hackry.
And no, being a massive racist doesn't make you anti-vax. Neather does opposing vaccine mandates.
I mean, look how far you're needing to streatch here.
Saying that I have not read a book that I quoted at you.
Believing that an anti-semitic poster is the actual position of the Nazis on vaccines.
Invoking the retards that makeup neo Nazis as a ad hoc position for Hitler.
Man, you're doing more gymnastics then the Olympics, to get your political link.
@That one lurker, I provided more than enough to back up my claim. Cry about it to yourself.
@LyricTerror, bro, you really haven't. Except for throwing a wall of text to a bad document, you've done nothing, but prove your bias.
"All these are those, unless they're with me."
@That one lurker, no I really have proven my point. It wasn't a document, it was a link to the archived book online. Be mad at yourself you couldn't get it to work. Works perfectly fine for me.
Facts aren't biased.
But let's be honest, you don't actually care about the facts, you care more about the petty argument you created yourself, because that's what you do on here. This isn't our first rodeo together and you clearly have a grudge.
I'm absolutely right in calling him an anti-vaxxer, and you're attempt to cause an argument out of it isn't working.
The link worked, it took me to a single page document, that blocked access to all pages but that one.
It's less of a grudge, and more of a loss of goodwill.
More or less I challenged against my patience to check out your inferior preferred documentation.
Where I was able to find a newer copy as a pdf.
I got the document to work.
Your document was sh!t.
Found a pdf to your benign quote.
Then read the context to the statement.
A mere fact of matter he wanted to deny the ukrainians medicine. Meant he thought medicine worked, that's why he was trying to deprive it from them.
I should probably just keep scrolling but fvck it
@waymo , *pulls seat up next to you with a bag of skittles* when do you think it’ll start
@waymo , 3rd shift bois, we have time til the sun rises to awaken the hurt butts. So I brought a tent and smores.

You want Omicron. That's how you get Omicron.
@Eat me, does it come with mild symptoms and good anti-bodies?
@Eat me, they’re gonna come with their anti-monument lasers
@werp zerp snickel, yes! And it’s free. That’s why big pharm is so upset
@werp zerp snickel, careful. Big techs going to ban you for that controversial statement.
That’s gonna happen when you walk too damn slow in the middle of the walkway
And look, nothing happened; though social distancing may be the only good to come out of this thing.
