@Factory BOY, I would assume the lever action in the bottom left leg

@Factory BOY, it put too much pressure on the table when he tried to lay it down. There is no frame, or rather the glass is the frame connecting the legs to each other, which is a huge flaw in its construction. Since the legs want to kick out and there's nothing to hold them together besides the glass, it gave out.

@HSA, just before the table breaks the wheel on the bottom left leg spins, leaving the table unsupported.

@Factory BOY, leg in the lower left spins, entire left side is now supported cantilever style by his hand in the center, moment arm is too large, table snaps where his hand is holding.

@SWAT the fireman, I was wondering the same too, thanks for explaining. I'm glad you said that the design is flawed, but I was vicariously frustrated on the guy's behalf, because I don't know what he did wrong! He looked like he was being very careful and it broke anyway!

This is why I always have some sort of cushioning when handling anything heavy that has glass as a part of it.
If he was dissembling it, task completed.
