@Hotchkiz, I remember someone in a dnd group I was in tried saying that. We made our way into a gang leaders base and beat him, but decided to interrogate them instead of killing him. When we were done, most of us were like "ok, time to murder him" and our paladin tried to be all high and mighty and say "no, we turn him into the authorities. Murder isn't that answer!". Meanwhile that building alone was littered with a dozen corpses, not to mention everyone before that

Just replayed TLOU2, I don’t care if the story isn’t as good as the first one, that game is unbelievably good. The gameplay is fantastic, the level design is literally perfect, the enemy AI is the best ever, and it is still the best looking game I’ve ever seen. It got way too much crap when it came out.

@Sappy Poop Stain, I agree with most of those points (maybe not the AI part to a degree) simply because those deserve credit and if this was the first game made of the IP it would’ve gotten all around decent praise. Since it’s a follow up to a story heavy game and is one itself well not having that make the most sense and feel contrived that’s the only reason it fell on its face for me

@Sappy Poop Stain, (SPOILER COMMENT) i thought it was an amazing game. Even the ending was good for me. The only thing that irritated me was the super early death of joel (i wouldnt mind if it was in the middle of the game) and also playing as abby. Im not hating on her but her gameplay was so boring and wasn’t interesting at all. Maybe because i was so attached to the main characters that it didnt feel emotional playing as the villain. They could have done a better job on the storytelling of hers. After all she has done, i didnt want to play as her. It was so annoying playing as her right after killing one of my favorite characters (the asian dude).

@swooz, totally disagree about Abby’s gameplay being boring. It took me a while to get used to the idea of playing as her, but all the best parts of the game were in her section. The skybridge, the descent down the building, the assault on the island, and the hospital was one of the best horror sections in any game ever. To me that’s part of what’s great about the game, I went from being annoyed at having to play as her to having a blast and being super invested in her character
How many hundreds of people did she kill on the way?
