They literally talk about this in the Bible though. “Shall we sin so that grace may abound?”

In biblical context, we all carry Original Sin because Adam and Eve ate the apple (or pomegranate, whatever it was) so even if you don't sin you're born with it. That's why people baptize babies.

See, when I cared about religion I remembered his suffering in the garden where he “felt the pain of all our sins” or something like that. Since people have sinned already then there’s no going back to stop it…. But maybe if I made a good choice or two it would be the same as sticking him with one or two fewer sewing needles. In the grand scheme it may not be worth much but he seemed like a nice guy and if my actions could lessen his pain a little then it seemed like the way to go.
