@Mook, went to an all boys school btw funniest years of my life. But we had to wear a uniform . I loved it because it was one less thing I had to think about. now that I'm working full time I take the lex fridman approach and have 5 of the same suits.

@CrazyRightWinger, they’ll just find something else to bully them about. The only thing uniforms do is give kids an excuse to wear the same pants all week.

@CrazyRightWinger, where I am at they always argued the poor kids wouldn't stand out, which isn't true, uniforms are expensive amd we could tell whether you wearing a fresh set daily. Its all bullshjt, most kids look much worse in summer uniform than normal clothes, its about checking conformity

Legit had a professor that got mad at us for wearing pajamas for an online exam proctored through webcam and lectured us about professionalism

@TriangleTesticles, I used to make sure I wore pajama pants to some of my classes because I knew my professor hated them. Nothing beats being comfy.

School uniforms often serve the opposite of the purpose. I've dated a few girls that went to those schools and been friends with a few the stories and depravity that occurs is way more than the public schools see. I blame restricting people because often you get more stubbornness and my god is it what I want.

Rob them of their individuality early so they better conform to your society
