Thats not how you swing a katana. Its not a baseball bat, its a bladed weapon. You push into the strike with your upper hand and pull it back with youre lower hand. You want to move the blade along the object as it is a slashing blade

Ok but it looked like the sword bounced back to its original shape, sit it’s not all bad. You like. Hang it on the wall. Or threaten someone non-lethally. Or take pictures in cosplay with it. Or do a really elaborate and improbable cartoon worthy murder.

@Fairy Squad Mother, nah, that thing is bent as hell. But, since it's such crappy metal, they can probably bend it back into shape by hand.
