@Diade, yup, it's to do with how the brain processes audio. Common amongst people with autism as well. Colloquially known as cocktail party syndrome I think.

I do this way too often lol. Never checked if I have adhd, but the more I hear the more I think I might.
This is called auditory processing disorder, and it sucks lol.
