@Hoopscallion, to cut to the chase. A minecraft speed runner pulled his friends out of obscurity. Using knowledge of the games glitches and quarks to win the game before he's killed. It got to the point where five people had to go after him at the same time. It ticked a lot of buzz words and rocketed him up over night. Mix in decent editing and nonconflicting character dynamics. You get a half way decent show with enough click through to prop up a whole channel. Then again I only know it because I watch Minecraft vids to unwind from politics. But this is really cringe.

@Child Slapper, it's not worrying about politics, it's learning perspectives. I try to learn what I can specifically to run ttrpgs. My favorite example is pathfinders cheliax. A race of humans was being encroached upon by barbarians. Pushing their tribe to the brink. To keep from dying they made a deal with asmodeus, the god of contracts, pride, slavery, and tyranny. Their Nation survived for several years being an empire of devil worshipers. Mirroring their court to the construction of the hells. 12 seats of counsel or political leaders with one as head. Ruling through the fear and brutality of an iron fist. Yet, they're diplomats in every other regard, wanting to win through the pen then a blade. How does such a society hold diplomatic ties with other world leaders? Goodly kingdoms hold contempt, yet they're not at war. In fact cheliax will often send aid, with no payments. Even to former vassal states. I study politics, to help them and others come to life.
….who?!
