I just watched the beavis and butthead episode where they changed the cooking oil at the burger place with motor oil. Exact opposite of this image but still a good example of how stupid society is becoming.

@Poisonwolf, there's a tiktok/snapchat/vine or something where this girl in a dress opens the hood of a 5 series BMW while holding a 5-quart jug of motor oil, peeks in at it, and then just dumps it on the engine. I was frustrated but from the shock factor I had to laugh.

Shady used car dealers will do this because it will burn with little to no smoke in order to cover up an oil leak. Especially with cars being sold at auction. Always have a trusted mechanic check out a vehicle before purchase.

How do you fix that? Like do you just drain the cannola oil the way you would regular oil? Is there not some kind of permanent damage? I hate that I’ve seen enough of these to ask this question

@Miss Leading, It shouldn't cause lasting damage, at least not immediately. You could probably even actually drive this a fair distance. The bigger problem comes from cooking oil being thinner and boiling away during use. To answer the first part, you should be able to just drain it away the way you would regular oil, but if you are too concerned, you can actually do a flush of the oil system.
