This is wrong. Each end zone is another 10 yards. So a football field is 120 yards.
Closest we can get to the metric system without being a commie
@SsumGuy, what if we used metric but called them something else.
instead of CM we can call them a finger.
10 fingers is a bun
10 buns can be a tenbun
10 ten buns can be a megadog
2 inch = 1 freedom
12 freedoms = 1 'marica
10 'marica = 1 apple pie
3.5 apple pies = blaze it
5 apple pies = 1 hand egg field
You can measure everything else off of that.
@That one lurker, this is quite random, but I believe that it's 1.75 apple pies for one blaze it. 2inch*12freedom*10'marica = 240 inches.
240*1.75 apple pies = 420 inches and one blaze it.
But 3.5 apple pies is twice as large, so I understand the confusion.
@SsumGuy, why are you converting it into inches? I was using an inch as a marker for the foot fetishist that worship the imperial system can understand.
420 freedoms= 3.5 apple pies or 1 blaze it. 7 apple pies would equal a fat stoggy or a π
Using the word football wrong lol
@NerdyGirl69, we’re American, would you expect anything else?
@Hot Coffee, probably not haha. I often wonder if Americans understand how people from places like the UK or nordic countries view them
@NerdyGirl69, understand? Some do, as an American that pays attention and reads foreign newspapers and has traveled in Europe a little, it’s pretty clear that to many in Europe we’re seen as a young, crazy rich cousin that has severe schizophrenia and a bad case of narcissism with the added excitement of always holding a loaded gun that has a sketchy safety mechanism, but for most Americans it’s the “I don’t even think about you” meme. They really don’t care.
@NerdyGirl69, An association football field is about 100 yards anyway
Should have been 1776x
1/2 mile and 1/4 mile are also common
I am about 1/50 of a football field tall.
Combine that with the fact that it's difficult to picture what a certain distance is without a reference. So, a football field is a good choice because 100 is a nice, neat number and almost anyone who went to a public high school or has watched ESPN knows how big a football field is
