But it’s the BIG sad.
Who would live: The one Palpatine was siphoning life force from, or the one he was giving it to?
@fettman1138, Are you implying that daddy Palatine was sucking Anakin's "life force" from him while simultaneously planting his own "life force" inside of Padme? Cause that would explain a lot.
@SimonPetrikov, Other way around, taking Padmes life force to save Anikan. Vader was critically injured, Padme was "healthy" but died by losing the will to live.
@fettman1138, Oh so he was giving it to Anakin. Really giving it to him. Just shoving as much life force into Anakin as he could fit.
@SimonPetrikov, You can do that when you have unlimited power.
@fettman1138, I’d be trying to put my life force into padme
@BigJohnson86, That was Anakin's intention but he's too much of a bottom for Palpatine
@SimonPetrikov, to be fair daddy palpatine has unlimited power
@BigJohnson86, Padme got cucked by Palpatine lmao what a loser. I'd probably die of sadness too.
Big difference there, the first one is trying hard to stay alive, probably the opposite for the second.
I thought she died due to complications of childbirth, no?
@JoeNES, ‘By all accounts she is medically healthy, but for reasons we cannot explain she is dying.’ Or something to that effect. They tried very hard to make it clear that her death was not due to pregnancy.
Ok, I agree it's dumb, but people do die from overwhelming sadness. Not normally young healthy people, but sometimes of cases when an older person dies their spouse dies even though nothing is wrong with them, it happens. It's rare, but you can actually die from a broken heart.
@Mantis Tobaggan, that’s true. Another common thing to die from is ‘not in the sequel disease’.
