He didn't touch me you see that Mom he didn't touch me
There is a 100% chance that this man also just stole your girl
@Scuzzinator, he just stole me.
@Scuzzinator, nah man he stole 2nd
I wish it didn't cut off right before the baseman looked back
I like the little step back before he touches
Go Blue jays!
Anyone know if they called that safe?
@Sortofslobro, I go to a lot of baseball games and I think it’s usually pretty agreed upon that if the baseman caught it at the base, you’re out. There’s stealing bases and stuff, but typically good sportsmanship in stuff like this, players don’t try to cheat with gimmicks like this, so I think he was just being silly.
@Sortofslobro, alright let me first state I didn’t watch the game. So what happened was the guy was trying to steal second base, but the pitcher just threw his 4th ball. The back catcher threw it to the second base man just in case. So because it was a ball, his steal just became a free walk to second base. Hence the silly foot tap. The baseman knew his tag wouldn’t have counted
@UMad, You're right, but technically, as far as we can tell, if the baseman is not physically touching the base when the ball is caught, the runner is not out. So, technically, by this footage, the runner is not out. Other circumstances may apply.
