@ABH, you're going to get a slew of "give this guy a medal" comments, but I don't mind being one of them. My brothers are in the Air Force, one as a fighter pilot and one as a linguist for Arabic international interaction. They both live on a top secret base and every day they tell their wives that cannot know where they are that they do this for the country and nothing else. They, like you, appreciate what they do in anonymity. So thank you. This made me smile and think about my family. I respect you. :)

@Allonsy Allonso, Well that and he did inspire millions of people to be themselves. Even if it is just Glee to "adults" and whoever, to bunches of others it was someone reaffirming that you should screw what others think and do what you want. Sorry for all that. Anywho, I find both equally important.

@Doctor Octagonapus, I was crying so badly after I found out Talia was gone. The fact that Cory Monteith is gone is also saddening but it's somewhat his fault for starting heroin in the first place. I know that drugs can rule your life but it's essentially the abusers fault. Not entirely... But kind of. This is my opinion. Down vote me to hell if wanted, just wanted to get that out there

Hi everybody, I've had funnypics for a long time and finally decided to make an account. The reason I did is because I just found out about Cory's death and, even though I don't really know him, I felt so heartbroken. I have identified with Glee ever since it started and to hear of his death is like losing a main part of something very precious to me. I just wanted to express my feelings somewhere and this community is the only place i think I could. I'm sorry for the long post.

@pullout boy, people often don't do drugs for "fun." The first time maybe, but in the end it truly is a sickness. Your body physically becomes addicted and it's not as easy to quit as you may think. So when a person is trying their damnedest to eradicate drugs from their life and have a tragic, unfortunate relapse that causes them to overdose, it doesn't make them pathetic. It's horribly sad because many really do try. Cory was one of those individuals, and it would do everyone some good if you would not try to belittle his untimely death, as it affected millions of fans who looked up to him worldwide. Rest in peace Cory, you'll forever be a part of my heart.
I just want to get this one thing out there because I am sick of these one-sided posts. I am a US navy sailor and when I enlisted 3 years ago, I didn't do it for the media and I am sure that this goes for all the soldiers out there. Cory Monteith was a public figure so attention to his life is expected and I just don't want people arguing over whose death is more important because, really? Every military member is in my thoughts and so are Cory's fans. Thank you.
