This is possibly the coolest parent in world.
@Billy Gates, cool doesn't justify how awesome he is.
@Billy Gates, which world though? Reach or Earth
@Moosen, considering reach is glass. Earth.

I need some help, and i figure this community is the bast place for it. There's this girl i really like. Unlike a lot of guys, i'm not afraid of asking her out. I'm actually totally comfortable with it. The only problem is i don't know about the steps after. I'm 17 and am about to get my license, but driving places is basically out of the question for a couple weeks at least while i go through the process of getting it. The other problem is i'm broke. I am working on my eagle scout project and between that and my classes, I can't spare the time to get a job. Basically, i'm stuck. I don't know if i should just go for it, but then what? Or should i wait a month or two to straighten out everything i have going on? I know there are people on here with all kinds of different lives and experiences, so if you know better than me what to do, i'd appreciate the help. I'd say sorry for the long post, but that's stupid. If you don't like long posts, don't read them.
@Commander Peanuts, No offended but this isn't the place to come for love advice
@Sir Richard, ya, true. So where is? This is just the first place i came to.
@Commander Peanuts, what happens if you wait a couple of months and she's with somebody ele
@Commander Peanuts, *else
@Commander Peanuts, what I would say is ask her out anyway, you can make the most of what options you have and time, if she likes you enough I doubt she would mind about money or you not having a car (if she does and brake up with you because of that then she isn't worth it, to put it in the bluntest of terms) and I'm sure she would have patience to wait a couple of weeks. I'm 17 as well and all I can say is that if you like her a lot then don't waste any time as 17 is an age where everything goes awry so having somebody you care about and vice versa should be a welcome thing and also what do you have to lose except maybe an amazing relationship and experience.
@Commander Peanuts, I think you should get your license first,then ask her out.She probably won't want...well a 17 year old with no license.And you need to get your things right before you think about taking care of someone else's needs.She will definitely say yes though,girls love a guy who takes care of himself and is confident! It is okay if you are broke,depending on where you live,it will probably be hard to find a job,even if you are an adult.You should be looking at some when you can fit it in.It is necessary. I hope I helped you out! :)
@Commander Peanuts, have u known her long enough where u could hang out at each others house? U can also just walk to places if theyre nearby. A couple weeks until u can drive shouldnt b a problem. And as for money u can always borrow/leech from your parents
@Commander Peanuts, ask for your parents to pay for your gas now then when you have time get a job and pay them back
@Commander Peanuts, if you dont have enough time for a job, then it's also likely that spending time with your girlfriend would be at a minimum. That being said; if she likes you enough and is intelligent, she'll understand that your classes and other projects restrict the time you two will have together for at least a month or so. If she understands what is happening to you, then i doubt she'd mind seeing you very much in the anticipation of you being together more. So I say; go for it just know that she may not be happy with the amount of time you are able to spend together. Or just not listen to me; I'm only some 15 year old boy
@Commander Peanuts, I say ask family or close friends
@Commander Peanuts, read the Tao of Badass. It'll change your life

BEST PARENT EVER
We need more people like this.
Am I the only one who disagrees? I mean, Halo is an M rated game, and that to me looks like a 7 or 8 year old. More like parenting done irresponsibly.
