Some of these are false or unclear....here are the basic facts of classic Pacman ghosts: Red is always heading straight to Pacman. Pink targets for four tiles in front of Pacman. Blue uses Both Pacman's position and Red's position to determine it's target tile, and is generally closer to Pacman when Red is. Finally, Orange heads straight for Pacman when more than 8 tiles away from Pacman, but heads for a predetermined corner tile when less than 8 tiles from Pacman. *The more you know*

@MrJojo, Also, sometimes the ghosts enter a mode called "Scatter mode" for a few seconds, which they do based on a timer and up to four times per Pacman life. When in this mode, all the ghosts head for predetermined corners. One can usually tell when the ghosts have entered Scatter Mode by noticing that Red is no longer pursuing you.
