I guess you could say it would have a Mass effect.
@Pepperidge Farms, anybody could say that.
@Pepperidge Farms, you... I like you
@Pepperidge Farms, or a masses effect.
@Pepperidge Farms, I see what you did their.
Video games are AMAZING
"Parents these days". I grew up with Doom, Duck Hunt, and black box cable, and at the age of 26, I've yet to kill anyone. And I know Duck Hunt isn't really violent, but it did have an actual gun involved.
@Not him again, ... Plays Duck Hunt... Goes hunting... See I told you it cause violence. Jk
I swear this was much longer the first time I didn't read it...
Video games influence children soo much, remeber all the kids that rook up urban planning after sims city? (I got that from the daily show)
My PS4 was dispatched today :D For the record I think both have merit.
@MrJojo, no amazon UK, sorry
@seedytroller, did u get the holiday bundle from walmart? I'm still waiting for mine
@seedytroller, ok just wondering cause i wanna know when they are gonna ship them haha
The way I see it is this, people who have murdered other people in cold blood have blamed books (John Lenons killer and Catcher In The Rye) but nobody has ever claimed to have killed someone because of a video game or TV shows influence.
@Cmndr Shepard, there's actually quite a few cases in which videos games were blamed. However, the video game companies were never charged with anything and the defense never held up. I did a report on this back in high school.
@Depressed Retail Guy, then those people probably had mental health issues to start with and may have ended up killing someone eventually like the people who blame books and the guy that said his microwave told him to kill people
@Cmndr Shepard, most likely. I know there was a couple young kids who pulled the fire alarm and shot over people's heads but accidentally killed and injured a few people. They said they did it because of GTA. Nothing really mental I don't think, just bored and they saw it on a video game. It's more of the parents fault than the companies fault IMO.
@Depressed Retail Guy, i agree, the companies shouldn't be blamed for the stupidity of the people who play their games. They put ratings on these games for a reason.
Even without anything i just said, it not really like video games are putting anything more into kids head than movies are. I really dont see anyone giving flak to movies about violence in it.
@Cmndr Shepard, that reminds me of the toaster from fallout NV Old world blues that wants to destroy the world.
@Cmndr Shepard, Stupid people and psychos will continue to be stupid people and psychos: like that guy who tried to jack a car like in GTA but was probably the stupidest person of all times.
@Cmndr Shepard, my full statement on this is to long and I'm lazy, but there are studies showing that playing video games actually teach kids to think and learn more than school does. Feel free to look it up il give the guys name when I find it.
@Depressed Retail Guy, well actually video games are defended under the first amendment, good enough defense?
this nig looking like AH Michael
Would have been both funnier and ironic if the dad had viciously murdered his son with a claw hammer at the end.
It's okay Booker, calm down
Stop reposting this!
Whenever I think about how people think video games make people violent I tell them how video games actually made me more conscious about violence and fighting, and just how terrible it would be to kill someone. They opened my eyes and had the adverse effect people think they have: the difference between disabling a pixel entity and ending someone life with a sheer price of metal being torn through their body. How you'd feel if that happened to you and your loved one's. Movies and TV though are something that people never even seem to take a glance at
Are we not going to talk about his hands in the sixth frame?
Idk I've been playing total war a lot lately and I've only jokingly suggested the conquest of everything
video games anything else
In the fourth frame there is a line going through the text
