Actually if you read the codex for mass effect it talks about how all the species speak their original language, but they have technology in their omnitools/armour/clothes/ears that seamlessly translate the languages to, in Shepard's case, english
@UMR Engineer, THANK YOU. Saved me the trouble of having to explain. MASS EFFECT FOR LIFE
@UMR Engineer, Awesome, like that old sci fi show Farscape.
@UMR Engineer, shouldn't their lips not sync up to what they're saying then?
@Metal Gear Kive, how is Farscape btw? I've always wanted to check it out..
@Dyrewulff , I never finished it, but Its a great show. The main human guy and all the aliens are able to communicate by injecting nanomachines into themselves. I
@UMR Engineer, I just started the trilogy yesterday, ready for a helI of a ride!
@Werewolfman, best game series ever
@UMR Engineer, you saved me the time. I
@UMR Engineer, Mass Effect is still my favorite trilogy ever.
@UMR Engineer, even the hanar??
@UMR Engineer, like Hitchhikers Guide Babel Fish?
@iHavetopee, That's just so that it won't look weird, it's also easier on the animators.
@CRS10114, Hell yeah, all aboard the MUTHAFVKING NORMANDY!!!
@UMR Engineer, how come they mouth the words they would be saying in English, hmm?
@Blindman69, just realized I'm a bit late...
@iHavetopee, technically yeah, but it'd just look like the developers screwed up since most people don't read that much into it.
@UMR Engineer, love this game so much. I remember reading that codex, but one thing that throws me off is i believe in ME2 or ME3 Mordin says something technical and there's an option where Shepard says "woah, speak galactic." I always figured that pointed to a universal language.
@CRS10114, I'm actually playing ME3 right now:3
@UMR Engineer, I just assumed a tardis was nearby
@UMR Engineer, thank goodness I didn't have to explain. Upvote for you sir :D
@Tali Zorah nar Rayya, I accidentally downvoted you. I am so sorry, had a late night and just woke up
@UMR Engineer, haha it's ok dude. I just got off work from a night shift. I understand.
@Tali Zorah nar Rayya, darn these sausage fingers :)
@CRS10114, my exact thoughts. Thank you twice xD
@Nazrat40, I'm in the morning if the BioWare Christmas party :) I love reading good comments about their games!
@UMR Engineer, mayhap he is a time lord and this technology is actually a tardis! Haha
@UMR Engineer, cool, but the rest still don't make sense
*ancient aliens guy* video games
If you came to video games for logical physics then you've come to the wrong place
Now that I think about it, Angry Birds seems to remind me a lot about the Japanese
They explain the language issue in the first Mass Effect (I believe)
Fallout: gets injured, restores health by drinking dirty radiated water
@Rosalie91, Fallout: Shot in the leg? Whole body explodes into a cloud of blood and gore.
Video game logic
@eren jeager, We said the same thing :/
Um I can testify against that...um...sh*t, play me off Johnny.*family guy piano music*
In the beginning of angry birds there weren't any female birds so how were there eggs?
@Squirtle Squirtson, the white bird lays eggs......
@not so scary matt, but those explode
Then you have to stop and remember with out these flaws games would suck or not exist
Most accurate description of anything ever
Talking to girls is harder than you might think...
Gun recoil doesn't work that way...
It was never about the eggs… it was about sending a message
Remember what happened when link did talk? Or do I have to tell you?
Have you guys start to type a comment and think it's hilarious... then you finish and think it's stupid because you over thought it and just completely erase it. I just want to know if I'm alone on this or not.
Video game logic is the best logic
