You know, there's nothing from this headline, or even picture, that says this happened in America. Time to do research.
@Jenny Talia, well, I did my research, and it, in fact, did happen in America. It was near San Antonio, Texas. But...it wasn't confirmed whether the student was shot because of being disrespectful or any reasons otherwise. So, this article jumped the gun a little prematurely, no pun intended. I hate when news reporters jump to conclusions, though.
@Jenny Talia, and the most recent update on the event mentioned that the college student resisted arrest and grabbed the police officer's baton, at least according to the officer's report, and of course, this was already assault, so the officer had the right to open fire. But...according to the student's friends and family, this seems nothing like him, there weren't really any witnesses, and the officer's dashboard camera wasn't even on. So there's practically no evidence/witnesses of what occurred that night regarding the incident.
@Jenny Talia, thanks for the insight. It's nice to at least be able to get a clearer understanding than assume that a cop just shot a kid
@Jenny Talia, is this that guy from Incarnate Word? If so I heard that they found marijuana in his dorm, this was on the local news since I live in San Antonio. From what I know it seems like both sides are at fault, although the guy was causing trouble and the cop had to do something
@Jenny Talia, thanks for the context and your name is awesome
@Jenny Talia, It is really cool to have some one who helps out like that, that's really cool. But seriously, is no-one worked up that a cop killed a college student, even for resisting arrest. I mean this is a Life thrown away here guys by a man with a gun, even I it was within his rights to shoot the guy, why does your average cop need a gun, why do they get the power to kill people, when it is illegal for others to do it? It is really sad that this story has been made into a joke. What is wrong with some people
@Jenny Talia, of course its murica hes drivin a ford mustang 6 cylinder...MURCA!!!
@Jenny Talia, usually their dash cams don't turn on until they turn on their roof lights. I haven't researched it but maybe it was simply the cop approaching the kid to talk to him and it got ugly
@dingaling sauce , how do you know it's a 6 cyl? Oh and you get a down vote from me. I'm tired of all these "murica" (or any other country) jokes.
@Jenny Talia, lawsuit!
@Rojav, I don't know why you are getting downvoted. I agree with you
Wtf funny pics, this isnt even remotely funny
I wonder what he said
It's true, he did kill him but it was for resisting arrest, not sarcasm
@Unicorn7427, still not good
@Unicorn7427, You still don't kill a kid for resisting arrest, unless that kid had previously murdered people.
It happend in San Antonio ( where I live ) I actually attended high school with the guy who was killed. The cop was a campus police at Inncarnet word and followed the student home who lived 7 minutes away from campus. There was no need for him to shoot and kill him. He just took a life for no reason
Awful. Just awful. This really shouldn't be on fp
Why's the eagle crying blood? Just wondering
Seems a little excessive.
Ok, I may sound dumb.. But I have no idea how to post a GIF? Halp.
@SyzmaticAsterix, Same way as you would upload a regular image
And I was like blam blam blam die young American man who probably could do great things blam blam
This had better be fake
This had better be true. Imagine if cops could shoot people for acting disrespectful! We'd be rid of a lot of obnoxious, stuck up, ignorant people.
@slumdoge, if it were true more pigs would be abusing their power. I'm not saying all cops abuse their power but if one cop can kill for disrespectful talk, they'll be killing for less. Learn yourself something or hopefully you'll be one of the ignorant a that goes too
@slumdoge, my fear is that the cop stopped him for a stupid reason because he's a college kid, and when the kid "disrespectfully" challenged the cop about it, he shot him
@lonely boner, don't feed the trolls please
@lonely boner, I hadn't thought about that. I'm just so annoyed by people at school... I searched this article, and it turns out it was true. The student was pulled over for speeding, and stuff happened, the student made a sarcastic remark like, "Oh, are you going to shoot me?" And...the cop emptied his/her gun into the student.
@lonely boner, dont you ever refer to a police officer as a pig again
@LiLCano24, Agreed. I don't care if you don't like cops. They stop real criminals and keep all of us safe. Be thankful.
@LiLCano24, police officers are different from pigs. I wasn't referring to police officers in my comment because a police officer wouldn't do whatever he/she wants even if the law says differently so cool yourself I have no problem with cops. I only have a problem with the ones abusing their power
@LiLCano24, I think an exception can be made for the cop in the picture
@slumdoge, That's violating freedom of speech
@MigHig, Well, shooting a person just for sarcasm isn't right either.
@lonely boner, thanks for the explanation, because it sounded like you don't like cops. Thanks again.
Plot twist, he said "whadaya gonna do? Shoot me?"
Okay I don't mean to sound rude, but is it just me or does the guy in the car look like the actor that plays gale in the hunger games?
What's up with the Anti-American posts Stuckpixel? Just because this happened in the USA doesn't reflect our whole people.
Not funny. In fact, this actually has made me slightly angry.
Give the police tazers instead of guns
That way people don't get hurt from poorly trained men operating fire arms, like outside the empirr state building when the police, trying to shoot one man, also hit 15 innocent bystanders
@Ray Narvaez Jr, it doesn't let me.. Pfft.
Be warned, this is a strange update.
What the actual f*ck
