I live in New Brunswick and this is literally us right now
@unknown Identity, we had the big ice storm a couple days ago, cananda is the winter equivalent to australia right now. ...
@unknown Identity, Ontario too
@unknown Identity, In Vancouver there is no snow, it has only snowed twice all season. But lots of rain though!
@unknown Identity, New Brunswick, NJ?
@unknown Identity, I live near Toronto (Halton region) and this is my entire town.
False. You can see the ground, that can't be Canada. I'm from Canada, I would know
@Chrf2000, yeah me too and last time I checked maple trees are solid ice with maple syrup flowing inside and pine trees all have snow powdering them, here's no wood on trees like that?
@Chrf2000, I live in victoria B.C. and can't confirm.. it's raining here haha
@Chrf2000, this happened in ontario, had a major ice storm and trees were down everywhere, people in toronto lost power for days!
@Chrf2000, yeah I live close to that in Cambridge and lost power for half the day lol
@Djayy, Yeah, I know unfortunately. I live right outside of Toronto, in Hamilton actually and I lost power quite a few times
@Chrf2000, there are many differant parts of Canada dip sh!t, so you can't say it isn't Canada because it doesn't look like it does where you live. I live in Canada too and this is pretty much verbatim how it looks where I'm at right now
@SaggyNipples, I was born there and grew up there! :) southern Alberta now though
@Rocky racoon , It was just a joke man, you didn't have to get that upset, it does actually look somewhat like that around where I live too. Just poking a little bit of fun, no need to get a little butthurt
@SaggyNipples, that's because you might as wk
@Chrf2000, now look who's panties are getting in a knot, mine was a joke aswell sir. I was being an Alberta rig pig as best as I could ;) gotta keep up the Albertan image! And I'm no man aha I am a girl!
@Chrf2000, if you're not from here I imagine that made no sense at all but in short I was portraying how almost everyone in Alberta is a dick head
@Rocky racoon , ohhhhh, haha, in that case, Im really sorry, I had no idea :P
But I actually am Canadian :D
@Chrf2000, I'm sorry aswell, I should have been more clear about the point I was trying to get across :) Canada is amazing! Go free basic health care!!!!!
@Rocky racoon , proof of citizenship: unnecessary apologies.
That's toronto from our huge storm a few days ago
I love how everyone from different parts of Canada agree on this and i'm just sitting in Vancouver like "Yay it snowed for a day this year!"
I live in Toronto and my family and I were without power for two days. We kept food out on the porch. It was okay for the most part, but some people still don't have power. It's been almost a week with minus temps in the teens. My neighbour's tree has a branch dangling off it that's just being supported by the ice. My brother almost had a tree branch the size of a bench fall on him as he went to work. And cause of the ice, a 75 year old man in the neighbourhood was struck by a car and killed. Thanks goes to the utility workers out there still from here in Canada and those that came from Michigan. And prayers out to those still in the dark.
@dumsaint, I live in Toronto too my family was out for dinner Christmas Eve and when we came home our power was back on. Thank god.
@ThatOneGuyPeopleHate, Yeah, I was rereading Lord of the Rings, fell asleep and woke up to the screech of the smoke alarm. *Irish accent* T'was like the singing of the angels themselves.
@dumsaint, I was only out for a day we used a car battery for hot water h
Ice: "I'll catch your coffee for you, eh?"
Tim Hortons is the BEST!!!
Was skyping my grandparents, who live near Kingston Ontario, on Boxing Day. They and my uncles had agreed that each of them would clear a foot of ice from the driveway (I assume they mean that they would be going along a foot at a time, not that the ice was that thick). Six hours later, and they hadn't done any of it because my cousins were going to be visiting and my grandparents and uncles were going to guilt them into doing it for them. Ah family
Nope not Canada, we have way more snow. I'm from Southern Alberta and we had temperatures of -48 degrees celsius a few weeks ago.
yeah we have over 100cm down in Prince Edward Island right now with another 20cm on the way for Monday
One if my family members sent me pictures of that from their neighborhood
I live in Ontario and half the city has been powerless for a couple days, people are sitting in the cold with no food....or internet....OH THE HORROR!!
I want to move to Canada like for real
@my name is josh, please do,
I live in Michigan and it is just like this. There were over 50,000 power outages just in Michigan
I can tell this was the same ice storm that hit my area earlier this week because of the Tim Horton's cup, its a coffee chain specific to western new York and Canada. We call it Timmy Ho's for short, they have THE BEST coffee!! That is all!
@Funny Dicks, actually, my friend went to college in Dayton, Ohio and she was sad that she had to leave Tim hortons behind. Then she saw a rainbow, followed it, and found a Tim Hortons down there.
@50SEVEN, Haha that's great, Tim Horton's IS a treasure!
@Funny Dicks, I only like the timbers and cookies :(
Regardless if it's Canada or not, did the tree basically explode from the inside out due to the freezing cold?
@ShadowDarkBlade, Actually there was a massive ice storm and most trees just froze right through and snapped
I'm visiting Canada right now. They put milk in bags. I wanna go back to California, shove Doritos into a carton, and give it to some Canadian people. Then, I'm gonna say," Welcome to America."
@FlyingPineapple, we have Doritos dumb ass
@Statue Of Liberty, We have milk here too. Thats not the point.
Are you kidding? Was got this same thing a week ago and I live in Oklahoma
Oh come on! I'm so tired of these jokes about Canada being so cold! It's only freezing cold like... 8 months out of the year. And then it's just... Medium cold!
@GratefulDead, ^ clearly a 'Murican. We got a really bad ice storm last week that made this exact thing happen all over Ontario.
Looks like Western New York, October of 2006.
@50SEVEN, I'm in WNY and it looks like this right now lol
@P71Cvpi87, not so much in the southtowns, but a few weeks ago I would agree.
Tim Hortons, f*ck ya! This actually might be Buffalo, NY. We just got a nasty ice storm that destroyed a bunch of trees. And we do have Tim Hortons too.
@P71Cvpi87, Well, I'm from Kitchener Ontario (about an hour northwest of Toronto), and our power was out for two days due to the ice storm. One of the maple trees near our house fell over onto a power line.
@Koolme1909, same story here. Luckily, I was spared. One thing is for sure though, this picture was taken somewhere in the north lol.
False this is upstate New York a ice storm recently passed through
@The Loud Italian, Tim Hortons is canada
So that's where I left my coffee eh?
I thought this was going to be a repost about all the spiders
Reminds me of the ice storm in New England back in 08, fun times...NOT
Holy crap this is where I live! That's crazy I live in Ontario and a huge ice storm took out about half our trees
I'm live in Canada too and after the storm my car was covered in ice like 3mm thick
Actually that's a nice storm which happen in the U.S of A as well. In fact, there was in ice storm in Maine and NH on Sunday
@Attention Fly Fisher, nice storm?
@Koolme1909, yes it's very kind. But I meant ice storm
Something exactly like this happened where I live in the except no trees snapped and there was barely any snow on the ground
