Time to build that wall to protect America!
He looks more like Hillary than himself
@Powerful Patricia, and yet somehow more the real him is more ridiculous than this.
@Runnin with scissors, forget the first more... sorry tired brain I blame school and all their dang learnings we should cut their funding.
Can we stop with this?
@Psyknis, I'm afraid it will likely continue, if not get worse, until he is gone.
@Psyknis, no you may not like talking about politics but it's actually important unlike sports which serve very little purpose
@eleven, I love talking politics. This isn't a political forum for those discussions. This is where I go to escape that to laugh at cats and read funny comments from this community.
@eleven, nobody here is "talking" about politics. This app isn't meant for politics. This app isn't meant for political discussion. This app isn't meant for one-sided political circle-jerking.
This app is for funny pictures. If a person dislikes a picture because it's political rather than funny, that is a valid criticism. If a person doesn't like a picture because it is outright inflammatory or hostile and leads to sh!t-slinging in the comments, that is also valid criticism.
Most people who like it now generally only do so because it largely echos their beliefs and ideas.
@eleven, Meryl Streep I didn't know you were on funnypics!
@Doctor Krieger, this app was made to post funny pictures. However, not every picture may be funny to you. There is probably a team of people with different personalities that check these. I find some funny and with some, im like wtf is this. Just skip political pictures no need to open them and read comments.
A physical border is a perfectly reasonable infrastructure expenditure. But you know, fvck trump, right?
@AnonymousCrab, yes a 50ft high wall across one of largest continuous land borders in the world, something literally no other modern country has EVER had or needed, totally reasonable
@Donald Drumpf, so we don't have an issue with illegal immigration? And where did you get 50ft? Was it in the executive order? And doesn't mexico have a southern border wall to keep illegal immigrants from central and south america out? Canada doesn't have the need because we don't pour into their country. European countries are led by the EU and many times can't dictate their own laws regarding this. Mexico is a third world country, literally, and unfortunately they come here illegally. That is not okay. It opens a door for drugs and weapons and furthers the human trafficking problem. A wall would deter all this and even discourage those in central and south america from coming to mexico to enter the US. No new laws are being enacted, Trump is only enforcing the current laws, something Obama refused to do.
@AnonymousCrab, you managed to name one country which doesn't even a wall and trump said 50ft
@Donald Drumpf, doesn't even have a wall*
@Donald Drumpf, trump says a lot of stupid things and yes I gave you one example. Want me to list every single country or do you want to be reasonable? And Trump doesn't know the specifics for the wall, he's not an architect. And my point still stands. We need a strong border with documented visitors and citizens.
@Donald Drumpf, and i mentioned canada and their lack of a wall to compare the different positions our country is in that calls for the need of a wall.
@AnonymousCrab, you do realize the Mexico border goes over mountains, across ravines, and through private property right? But sure, a wall makes perfect sense somehow. Cause planes don't exist or anything.
@Cynic8387, I fail to see your point. I would believe that the wall goes across these things but how would that nullify the need for a strong border between the US and Mexico? And of course illegal immigration occurs in ways other than traffic across the border. But a large percent is accounted for via traffic on land. We can have a discussion without a flame war, without grudges and floods of downvotes, but snarky comments are counterproductive to the conversation. It is the right of a country to enforce its own laws and a border wall is a strong option to deter illegal immigrants lower crime rates and also, keeping the immigrants safe. Many die trying to illegally immigrate and that is terrible. Rather than do it the wrong way, this will hopefully force them to follow the rules and stay safe
@AnonymousCrab, the downvote confirms, fvck trump and fvck logic
@AnonymousCrab, Agree 100%, it's a shame people are not listening to reason. You can hate his policies, or how he acts, and those are perfectly OK position to have, but to simply just deny our country's rights, like how dare we enforce a law.
@TotalBull, y'all do realize most illegals enter legally, like in boats and planes? I suppose we could put a wall in the sky but that'd be expensive
@Captain Anderson, Ok, so we deal with people who are over staying their visa's, still doesn't make since not to have a way. Cool that there's other ways to come in illegally, doesn't mean we still can protect our borders.
@TotalBull, you're going to deal with all 11 million (or likely more) illegals that came in through these ways? I mean sure but OK you're going to be deporting 4% of the entire population of America. That's more than proportionately died in the Civil War, which was 2%
@Captain Anderson, Lol, but they're not American if their illegal.
@TotalBull, also a border wall doesn't make any logical sense. Say I'm an illegal immigrant, and I managed to make it into America. I can't go back to visit my family like a normal person would, at least by plane by boat because they would catch me. I used to be able to walk but now since there's an impenetrable border wall that's out of the picture. so, paradoxically the only thing A border wall would do would be to increase the amount of illegals by trapping them here
@TotalBull, they can be if they were allowed to come forward and start a naturalization process. Give them five years of being a legal immigrant, paying taxes but no ability to vote or hold office, and then integrate instead of separate
@Captain Anderson, That makes absolutely no sense, so because they broke the law, and their not able to leave, we need to open the borders to make it easier for them? What kind of logic are you spouting.
@TotalBull, I'm saying that there is a problem- illegals, and that building a wall won't fix anything. I'm proposing a compromise. Get immigrants paying into the system and working for it before they get the benefits of it.
@Captain Anderson, They can do that without breaking the law, my parents did, and so did my grand parents, people who break the law should face the consequences.
@Captain Anderson, There is a pathway to citizenship you know, they are just not willing to do it the right way.
@TotalBull, like I said- 4% of americas population. The consequences of losing 4% of the population overnight are staggeringly more damaging than making everyone here a citizen
@TotalBull, I am agreeing wit you. They should have entered legally, but now we need a new solution for a new problem
@Captain Anderson, *with
@Captain Anderson, It's not a new problem, the reason we have a border isn't so we can keep everyone out, it's to keep the people we don't want out, the drug dealers, the criminals, but with an open border we can't get them properly. So we build a wall, and then we make a better pathway to citizenship, I'm sure we need a better one. Also what consequences come with that? Companies that hired illegals illegally and are paying them dirt money are going to lose their employees? Yeah I don't care for people who take advantage of others.
@AnonymousCrab, just real quick too, you realize most people enter this country illegally by over staying work visas, a wall is literally a waste of time and money
@TotalBull, do you realize how expensive that process is? Some forms one must file can cost $1000 and even then it's still no guarantee.
@brickmaster8, Yes I do, my parents went through it, I already stated that the pathway to citizenship needs to be worked on, and I agree it's too hard now, still doesn't mean we can't protect our borders.
@TotalBull, The president of Mexico refused to come over to speak to Trump, this means the wall isn't even built yet and it's already working. Also, China has a wall and just how many illegal Mexicans do you see over there?
Did he just sit there and let the wall be built around?
Then end the drug war. End the other lie based while you're at it.
I wonder what the cartoonist's original text said.
Given trumps history with contractors, I think I'll pass.
