Except that Harry raised this same question in Half-Blood Prince, and Dumbledore explained that a wizard may only make a horcrux out of an item that has great significance to him. Nerd rant over.
@RandomWord, Actually, Dumbledore was saying that Voldemort would only use items that had a particular importance. Voldemort had a connection with the diary, ring, locket and Nagini, but with the cup and diadem it was just that they belonged to the founders of Hogwarts.
@RandomWord, or am I totally off base? I just recently reread books 3-6 but I've only read 7 once so I could be forgetting a lot.
@RandomWord, tobirama is right. They don't HAVE to be anything of particular significance, Dumbledore just concluded that since it was Voldemort he would probably prefer to make them out of more valuable, significant objects because that was his style.
@Chandler Bing, ya but I just remembered the cup and diadem may have significance to Voldemort in that, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw were both founders of Hogwarts, and Hogwarts was the only place Riddle ever felt at home. Hogwarts was the significant link for those two hoe cruxes.
@Tobirama Senju , *Horcrxes
@Tobirama Senju , No, I like hoe cruxes better.
@RandomWord, true, putting a horcrux into a sword or something doesn't stop you from throwing it in an ocean or something rather than an extremely obvious place within the the wizard world the they're definitely going to find. Goodbye.
@RandomWord, he still could've thrown one of the objects in the middle of the ocean. Case closed
@Bagpipe Ninja, but he needs the object to resurrect himself it needed. And he just cant, "Accio grain of sand Horcrux"..
Voldemort hates nosey people
Actually voldemort kept nagini by his side and inside a protection field most of the time in the last book
@Missgeekgirl, Yep, and in fact that is how Nagini is drawn on the back of the cover of the European book, almost as if in a bubble :)
I love Harry Potter but I never get to have serious discussions about it.
@Tobirama Senju , I kind of don't want to, because there are flaws that I can't explain, and I don't like it.
By making Nagini a horcrux it could only be killed by something such as basilisk venom.
@mikegigs, which is why only the sword of griffindor could kill it, because it was elven and would become stronger instead of breaking.
We tried to warn him
Does anyone else just sit and wait for an update then half hour in you just think, what am I doing with then continue to wait?
It's like the car commercial. The guy is just there to help.
@Zappat, like a good neighbor Kevin is there!!
Good luck to colin kaepernick today! Make the community proud!
Ok sorry for the paragraph in advance. So I just finally made an account, but I've been here since a lot of the "legends" of this app, just to talk to you guys about an idea. Everybody here loves this community right? So I was thinking, what if we transferred the community to completely different things, like other games and apps? I don't know a whole lot of other stuff to transfer to other than silly ideas like CoD: Ghosts and Clash of Clans. I do not know if this is already been figured out or anything so please tell me if you like it or not and any ideas you have of where we could expand to. Again, sorry for the long paragraph. Thanks!! Have a nice day!
That drawing of voldemort looks soooo cute

Hey, I don't blame him. Sometimes it's hard to control your snake.
