@theBANANAMAL, I lived there for 6 years from being a navy brat. Going from Florida to Japan was a big change. My first three years in Japan was like a vacation. I always went on tours and visited almost every aspect of Japan. From their more cultured ancient styles to their new modern styles, it was a blast. If you have the time like I had, use it to the fullest. You will have the greatest time of your life.

@The Last Airbender, the exaggeration of certain features and the exclusion of others denotes the importance of those particular features. Eyes are, so to speak, "the windows of the soul" and are generally the way emotions are best expressed. The size of eyes may also indicate something about character. For example, very large, almost oval eyes, might denote an innocence or kindness whereas more triangular and smaller, sharper eyes denotes a sort of experience, distrust, or strict disposition. Read Scott McCloud's Understanding Comics for a better grasp if you're actually interested. It's quite fascinating.
The whole country is so weird, which is why I will be traveling there shortly
