anyone else think it's weird that a bar serves hydrogen peroxide as a beverage?
@SpankmehardSanta, is it? I mean... Is it really?
@SpankmehardSanta, maybe the bartender is an ex-chemistry teacher and a huge jerk
I was going to make a chemistry joke but all the good ones argon
@SpankmehardSanta, who asks for things using a chemical formula
@SpankmehardSanta, no, not really
@Violent Grape, well if you look at the original picture with the sientific cat saying this, the top comment said h202 is hydrogen peroxide. Also @spankmeHardSanta Dat Name
@The Joke Killer, little Timmy drank some water, but he will drink no more, for what he thought was H2O was H2SO4
@The Joke Killer, You killed it for me. You just killed it.
@SpankmehardSanta, Its Scary Mike's drink.
@SpankmehardSanta, plot twist he's a breaking bad ex-actor
Jimmy was a chemist's son. Jimmy is no more. What Jimmy thought was H2O was H2SO4
@Luis Nani, My goodness.
@The First Destroyer, explain please
@its mountainman, H2SO4 is Hydrogen Sulfate. More commonly known as Sulfuric Acid. Basically "Jimmy" mistook the Sulfuric Acid for water. When he drank it (the acid), he died.
@The First Destroyer, O_____________o ya that would kill you
@Luis Nani, ACID HEAD! WALK LIKE THE DEAD!
Does anyone else remember this joke from another post?
@Enormous fire, with the scientist cat
For those who don't understand, the joke is that the man unknowingly ordered H2O2, which is a chemical that can kill humans *the more you know*
@Thinlizzy, aka what's in your stomach and digests food
@Thinlizzy, yay for junior year chemistry
@Thinlizzy, is hydrogen peroxide deadly? I didn't think so
@Thinlizzy, "a chemical that can kill humans" very science, much descriptive, so wow
@TheDiabeticOne, no...your talking about HCl hydrocholric acid, H2O2 is hydrogen peroxide
@TheDiabeticOne, that would be hydrochloric acid
@Thinlizzy, and its good for cleaning cuts
@Jg20, derp... I'm in bio not chem that's my excuse lol :P
@The Gamesphere, Actually, according to a few nurses I've talked to, you actually aren't supposed to put it on wounds.
@Apollos, well, I'm still alive...and Spherical!
@The Joke Killer, yeah I was really
@Thinlizzy, high when I wrote that
@Bus Full of Kids, kind sir, I recall learning that in year eight.
@The Gamesphere, @Apollos, the reason why you don't put it on wounds is because it dries out the skin and prolongs the healing process. However, it is actually safe to use if you have an infection or cut in your mouth as a disinfectant.
@TheDiabeticOne, that's not a good excuse. A biologist should know what's in the stomach more than a chemist should. Just a suggestion from one biologist to another ;)
@Apollos, they say that because it is being over used and is creating super bacteria that is more resistant.
@TheDiabeticOne, coulda sworn hydrogen chloride was what digested the food in your stomach, not peroxide...
@GrumpyKat, hydrogen peroxide is extremely deadly if ingested
@OutOfUsernames, really? Huh, interesting. I use it to disinfect a lot of stuff, I figured it was safe
@Thinlizzy, not the common 3 percent it's very damaging and causes gastrointestinal distress but the more concentrated 20 percent or more can it's a very powerful oxidizer
@TheDiabeticOne, stomach's actually filled with Hydrochloric Acid. Nice try, though.
@Thinlizzy, everything is a chemical, so there's nothing really special about that statement. A knife is technically a chemical that can kill humans.
Yeah! Chemistry bitch!
I once told my friends a joke about noble gases. But there was no reaction. Ba dum tisss!
There will be a Sly cooper movie..... any thoughts?
That man was me.
Welcome to two years ago
Wait who thought chemistry was funny?
As in H2O2, otherwise known as Hydrogen Peroxide which is poisonous.
i dont get it...:(
@mizuty, H2O2 is the chemical compound of carbon dioxide. The first guy gets water, the second one suffocates.
@BeholdMrL, actually H2O2 is the chemical formula for hydrogen peroxide, not carbon dioxide.
@mizuty,H20 is water, but the other dude said "H2O, too" which sounds like H202, 2 hydrogen 2 oxygen, no idea what that is but apparently it kills you
@mizuty, H2O2 is the chemical formula for hydrogen-peroxide. You could describe it as water with an extra Oxygen atom.
@BeholdMrL, Hydrogen Peroxide*
@mizuty, H202 is hydrogen peroxide, which is poisonous to drink. Carbon dioxide is CO2, Behold Mr L.
@BeholdMrL, no. Sorry, you're wrong.
@BeholdMrL, actually, it's peroxide. It's not carbon dioxide. If it was carbon dioxide, it would be CO2
Wow, make one wrong comment and everyone and their brother has to reply...
@mizuty, Read it as H2O2 or more commonly known as hydrogen peroxide.
@RangerDanger, i though so but i wasnt sure if i was right.. thank you..to everyone actually lol :)
@SpankmehardSanta, your name disturbs me
@BeholdMrL, you are unbelievably stupid.
This is funnier with the cat
I just started watching the newer battle star galactica on Netflix. I would highly recommend it to people.
What I'm wondering is why the guys just didn't say I'll have water
Instead of studying for my Organic Chemistry exam,I'm here with you wonderful people and then I see this...coincidence? I THINK NOT!
@RangerDanger, I'm on here instead of studying for a chemistry exam too. 😜
Wow chemistry is so funny, right guys? Right?
I enjoyed that.
This was taken from the Big Bang theory.
I know that H2O is water, (I know this is probably a really dumb question) but what is H2O2?
H209 *gets rap3d by animals*
I'm laughing way more than I should right now..
I don't get it...
Ba dum tss
What's H2O? Water, what's H2O2? Hydrogen Peroxide, what's H2O4? Drinking... Ba dum tsss
I laughed... More than i was suppose too...
This joke kills me every time!
Anyone else see this on BuzzFeed first?
Well that escalated quickly

Random survey: Reply your flappy bird high score. Mine's 61. I'm curious.
@The Big Broccoli , I beat my high score of 4 last night! Now my high score is 5! *high fives the air*
@The Big Broccoli , f*ckin 10. i had to delete it in fear of me raging and throwing my phone across the room.
@Pretty Sweet, I felt the same way. Good thing I have a life proof case
