Story time! Ok so there's this one beautiful girl in my English class that I really like and I think she likes me too but really I don't know because i usually catch her staring at me and that sort of deal (but not creepily you know?) The problem is is that I think we are both taking the same approach and waiting for each other to make a move. Any advice people? Anything is appreciated! (Also can anyone provide a girl's perspective on this?)
@Sylux, i'd make a move
@Sylux, make the move us girls usually won't ever make the first move, and we don't reject people unless they're annoying and we hate them so just go for it
@Sylux, ok first you get up on your seat and look at her dead in the eyes then you say "you, me LETS BANG" at this point she will be gushing for you then you fight her evil ex then her crazy father who once was a bodybuilder, this part may get alittle dicey but you have to engage in sexual combat with her mother for if you come out victorious this girl will forever be yours... Or you just say hello
@Sylux, the absolute best way to never get with her is to never ask. You'll never regret going for it
@Sylux, usually you can get the ball rolling by introducing yourself, starting up a conversation, paying her a compliment here and there, and then asking for her number
@Sylux, being a guy, be the gentleman, ask her out to a movie or game or something, nothing to intimate, but at the same time gives you guys a chance to get to know each other; from a phycological stand point, most women like a man with confidence so she maybe inclined to say yes if you man up and make the move. The worst thing she can say is "no". Good luck bro.
@Sylux, just say "hi" and that should get things moving
@Sylux, go for it, it's better to try it and regret it, than it is to regret never trying it :)
@Sylux, Speaking from experience, you want to make sure she's comfortable with it first. Baby steps. Get to know her: find something you guys have in common, and talk to her every once in a while. See if you can hold up a conversation and if you share interests. If you start out as friends, there will be less awkwardly silent dates. Good luck!
@bronze512, no, the worst thing she can say is, "you know i'm a dude, right?"
@Sylux, go to her, try some funny pick up lines like: are you google? Because you have everything im searching for. I mean really, youve got nothing to lose
@Random Canadian, is this true!?!
@Random Canadian, OMG I just...
@Random Canadian, *cries*
@LocallyFamous, pretty much
@Sylux, thats... My exact situation. Down to the English class and everything. I think you should just talk to her. If she 1.talks in a higher pitched voice than usual 2. Pupils dilate 3. Blinks a lot or flips her hair often. She may be interested in you. I'd say she is.
@Random Canadian, also, she may be interested if it's easy to make her laugh. Or if she mimics words you say or things you do. I'm too analytical. Just say hi.
@Sylux, so ummm I have this exact thing with a guy in my English class. (Weird right) well tell me how it goes because I want advice to haha
@Katara , what if you two know each other? And are in the same class?
@Sylux, this sounds just like my situation o.o and apparently a couple others on here. Do it! And see if it's any one of us!
@Random Canadian, do you hate me?
@Sylux, so what was the outcome?
Cuckoo birds actually have one of the coolest/weirdest ways of avoiding having to build a nest. They discover another species of bird's nest and then they up and dump some of the other species kids, and the cuckoo chicks are left in the unwittingly adopting parent, and, because birds aren't all that bright, the mother usually falls for it. So, in short, when it comes to babies, these cuckoos are straight cuckoo.
@The Kragle, This is true. I remember when I learned this in middle school, I said: "Cuckoos are complete and utter dicks."
@The Kragle, to extrapolate cuckoos actually ha e evolved to have their eggs look like other birds and use force to make sure the other birds keep the egg safe for them. If a nesting bird destroys the cuckoos egg the cuckoo will break all the other eggs in the nest.
@The Kragle, Mob Tactics- aviary style
And that women will definitely be getting some cokc (spelled for censers)
@Wit never Wins, hickory dickory dock, the girl jumped on the c0ck
@Wit never Wins, don't you mean she'll be getting some clock? *jumps out of window*
@Wit never Wins, only two words that are censored are f*ck and sh*t. You can even say cunt. The more you know.
@Wit never Wins, sir you spelled coke wro- oh.....
As long as it worked

Some breeds of cuckoo actually lay their eggs in other birds nests and when the cuckoos hatch they push the other eggs out.
I know what all the other birds are; and I've helped them make nests (except the blackbird; but I've seen it.)
I expected a "swallow" joke... 😕
well, she's not wrong
I was really expecting a dirty joke
