The wholsome levels in this pic are over the charts.
So last night I got a phone call I’d been expecting and dreading. At around 1:10 am, March 3rd, my father passed away in the hospital due to MMS (I believe that’s what they called it). He would have been 54 on Tuesday. Keep posting things guys, I’m sure as h*ck gonna need to see some funny stuff.
@UncommonSense, my mom passed away a little over four years ago. Her blood sugar dropped significantly (to 14) and we found her in bed. She was alive but nonresponsive. We found out a week later that she had also had a hemorrhagic brainstem stroke. Which I think was due to a fall the previous week from to low blood sugar. (Apparently her low blood sugar was because her kidneys we’re having issues at the time so the insulin was overcompensating) After the first three weeks in the hospital she finally started to come back around, on the day of my birthday at that. But a week later she fell back into unconsciousness again. Two weeks later she passed away. She was 52.
It’s a difficult thing to deal with. Humor helps. Remembering all the good times helps. What helped me most was not focusing on the loss but instead focusing on the good memories. It takes time to process it. But you can get through it. If you have to, think of it as honoring their memory.
It gets better with time.
@Seohn, thanks bud, that’s something I really needed to hear from someone. My family is still reeling from this whole thing, so obviously this is where I’m going to be going for a lot of healing humor.
My dad was in a self help center and some medication he was given caused him to not sleep, so they gave him a different med, and next thing I know, he’s in the hospital with a 107 fever and after a cardiac arrest. He regained consciousness but had severe irreparable brain damage. We took him off his respirator 2 days ago around 4:30pm, so he lasted pretty long and we all knew it was our last chance to say goodbye. I’m sorry for your loss.
@UncommonSense, speedy or your lose my friend, time heals wounds and take those emotions as they come.
@UncommonSense, prayers for you! Losing a parent is awful especially at such a young age :( what exactly is mms?
What’s this guys Chanel?
@iovernash, he’s gonna get an influx of subs that I don’t think he’ll be ready for
@iovernash, I second this, anyone know the channel name?
@Lord of Sloths, Watch "Nilson Izaias Papinho Oficial" on YouTube
Chris Broad from Abroad in Japan did this for his Paetron subscribers at the end of his “Natsuki the Movie” because he originally set it as a joke that if they reached 2000 subscribers I think. He would make that movie.
And at the end of the movie during the credits he had all of the patron subscribers listed. Although not technically written down since I just spent a few hours or a day compiling that list. It was A nice gesture I think.
