Even though, again, it's not Halloween
Good lord, I love these comics. Always an awesome read
@PizzaGamer, So from all these comics, what can you tell me about Erma? Well shes a ghost child. People are used to her appearance. Shes trying to fit in with other kids and doing things kids tend to like. She's silent and observational.
But she doesn't have any character. We know what she is, but we don't know who. We have no answers to what she likes to do in her free time, why she likes them. Through all these comics we don't learn anything about her.
We see what goes on around her, but we don't see how she views the world. We aren't looking through her lens or into her thoughts that every single other comic is able to demonstrate.
@Tentastic, well how much character do you give a developing ghost child? She determined and very curious, her wanting to tie her hair back and eventually succeeding. Despite her horror appearance she caves in to cute things such as a her warrior princess unicorn collection stuff. Heck, she's even shy about it because she thinks she's supposed to be scary and stuff. She supports her friends, and looks out for others, helping her new rat friend settle into school.
Again it's not a whole lot but there's enough for now. She currently exploring her mother side of the family (the
Paranormal side) so she still has room to grow...
You know as a kid.
@Tentastic, I don't see why people are downvoting your comment. It was a reasonable question.
Was that a female Eustace(from courage the cowardly dog) in the last strip?
@Stag Partier, that’s what I was thinking! Nice brain stealing, 2 days later... are you a time traveler?
Congratulations you just killed someone
