Don’t downplay it, that place is YOURS. There are lots of people who would love a place like that, myself included.
@generic zombie, living in NYC and paying 2000 a month for a shoebox. That looks nice
@icantfindmyfamily, I’m in si what part u from
We all start somewhere. That apartment ain’t bad
Wait this guy had an air mattress? I had to sleep on a pile of clothes when I got my first apartment.
This guy started like a king.
@Slayer9200, same! A makeshift nest of bedding and towels etc
Rookie move. Gotta keep the box your TV came in. Boom, free TV stand. Gonna kill your neck trying to watch from that angle.
If you don’t start like this someone gave it to you
Ah yes good 'ol used sock. For foot of course
So no one told you life was gonna be this way?
Start? That’s how I live and intend on staying this way
"Guys live like this and act like it's not a problem!" -girls who got everything given to them free and easy.
When I got married the bed we got couldn’t fit up the stairs, so we definitely had an air mattress setup similar to this. But we bought a couch off someone for $20 to go in front of our free gifted decade-old TV.
I never got to live on my own.
I’m a hardcore thrifter. I’ve been able to get some good deals by checking Facebook marketplace daily and by hitting the thrift store. My latest deal was getting a $250 rug for $50 at goodwill (it was in pristine condition) and my best deal ever was getting a $1400 LG OLED 55” curved tv for $70 (didn’t have the original tv legs for it so I was able to get them from eBay for $30). It is well worth it to be frugal sometimes
There’s still the pride u get from being on your own
2 cokes and a TV! Someone started well off
It's not cluttered, good space
