That's a Shrike. Ounce for ounce, one of the most vicious birds alive. It evolved directly from velociraptors.

@Filker, my favourite thing about the shrike is that they store their prey by impaling it on the long needle like spines on the plants they nest on. Sometimes the prey stays alive for a while. It's a pretty effective storage system.
