Then the cops and the lady came back in and started clapping
@TheBigJ, then she pulled another $800 and said 'il take things that didnt happen for $800, alex'
@TheBigJ, then they all turned to the camera and took a bow
@TheBigJ, no it's then they all bust in the door and walked the dinosaur
@TheBigJ, hey, we believe all the Florida Man stories and not this?
@WickedStyx, I actually believe it
@18bluecat, if you point a gun at someone even if it’s unloaded then that’s still assault with a deadly weapon. No way the cops are arresting the lady and not the dude
@tampon theif, not even in self-defense?
@18bluecat, if you need to defend yourself from some lady slapping your hands by pointing a gun in her face you've got worse problems
@TheBigJ, Do Americans generally carry large wards of cash around with them for no apparent reason?
@Nellybert , Do non Americans really think we all live the same way? Kidding. But no, typically, $800 would be a bit much for most citizens, unless they just cashed their paycheck or something. A woman this out of touch? Probably would have some cash on her. Then again, a woman this out of touch, with that much cash, would probably sooner hire a lawyer than just fork over her shît. It’s really hard to say. More importantly, there are, unfortunately, people here this stupid.
@tampon theif, if the story is as it reads, where she struck first and it wasn't even loaded, then no, it's not assault with a deadly weapon. She's the assailant and him the defendant. At WORST the cops may confiscate the gun while watching the security footage. They'd give it back after.
@Berntley, Yes, yes we do. We have seen Friends, King of The Hill, and The OC - do now we believe that is what you’re all like depending on whether you come from the East/centre/West If the country. 😋
Seriously though, yeah, dumb to generalise, I know. I read in a tourist guidebook a couple of years back that a lot of places don’t accept card payments and wasn’t sure how common that still was. (You should see the look of horror on a modern Londoner’s face if they’re told that a shop’s care machine is down and it’s cash only!)
@Nellybert , its about the same here, too. I told a homeless man I don’t carry cash one time, and he said I could just wire it to his PayPal account. Ok, that’s not true, but it’s about where the line is at. Everybody has a card reader these days.
I think this never happened and you shouldn’t have paid $300 for a used 500 from a pawnshop
@Richard Cypher, that’s exactly what I was going to say.
Well that was amusing
@Fallout267, fake but great.
IMO That lady was a bïtch, but being a bitch isn't a reason to threaten her with a gun. Never point a gun at a person. Rule 1.
@Depressed Panda, I'll take don't kill people is rule 1 don't threaten to kill people is a close second
@Depressed Panda, what if someone is threatening your life or someone else’s?
Hope you realize there are a million of these soccer mom stories on /k/
Epic story. Guys a hero.
Yeah listen, I like guns, but loaded or unloaded you don't point a gun at someone. That is the first rule of gun safety. Whether this is real or not
What the hell is wrong with the barrel of that mossberg
X with turbo fire switched on.
