It’s a classic
@Not A Wolf, yeah but is not helping us as a country at all. We can’t grow if we don’t respect each other and keep destroying what we have accomplish thru out the years
@seeUpee, the people that do that do not want healing or or respect. They want to tear down a great society and foolishly think that something better will miraculously appear.
@big freedom, or they want to keep the status quo by keeping us at each other instead of the rich and powerful.
1984, by George Orwell...State of Fear, by Michael Crichton. Both excellent fiction that explain how governments and organizations use fear as a control tactic.
@Who Nose, and Hunger Games.
@big freedom, Hunger Games is just plagarized garbage more like battle royale.
@Rudolph Schmidt , the original title was Dystopia: Battle Royale
I’m so sick of the people making this about race. They’re detracting from the REAL issue: police accountability.
@I Are Lebo, maybe if Minneapolis didn't defund the police in 2018 , they would have the resources to hire better cops and make sure one if them, I dunno, doesnt kill anyone.
@I Are Lebo, got on Facebook and seen something about a guy named Tony Timpa who was apparently also killed by cops but since he was white no one cared
@I Are Lebo, thank you!!
There are SO many examples of police killing unarmed people of ALL races. Only the ones that fit the narrative (of we want a race war - media) actually make the news.
It’s not about race, it’s about police that think they’re above the law. (They think this because it’s been true for far too long).
I’m watching “Just Mercy” on Amazon. Great movie. I actually got to watch Bryan Stevenson speak at a conference. He was amazing and I love his cause.
Storm’s a comin’.
@Cave Dweller, ayuh
If you think this is a race war and not a multiracial movement against police brutality then you might have the right IQ to be a police officer
@ReverseGiraffe, let's unite under peace and love and blocking roadways and hurling things. Who you gunna call crying when they hit you too hard or break something of yours. Also George Floyd was an armed felon with a warrant for his arrest involving pointing lodged gun at a pregnant black woman but he really does represent what the BLM movement is hunh
@Pang, literally can’t stress that enough with some people. I’m all for the movement but having George as the face of it with people worshipping him is insanity.
@Pang, okay so I'd like to know where you got that info from cause from what I read he a) was unarmed in every report that has come up from the incident and b) that the police were called because he was suspected of using counterfeit money and was already convicted of his assault charge years earlier in '09 and served time.
Putting those aside, you cannot tell me that an officer of the law found it necessary to put his knee on the neck of a facedown, handcuffed man for over 8min.
And let me set this straight. I despise the looters and vandals that are destroying private and public property, ruining the protesters message, and killing people like Officer David Dorn, who was killed helping a friend protect his business. I respect officers who play by the rules and ensure the safety of communities, but that fùcker Chauvin killed an unarmed citizen and that's a fact and that should be an addressed problem, no matter if Floyd was black, white, or looked like fùcking rainbow skittles.
@that1german, hmmmmmm skittles
@seeUpee, eh I'm more of a Starburst man
@that1german, Starburst? I have no preference... Gimme that GummiBurst all in my mouth... I’m a happy man
@seeUpee, those are the ones with fruit juice or whatever in the middle? Those are pretty bomb
@Pang, this is the first ive heard of these allegations against Mr. Floyd and i would appreciate source citations
@that1german, you talking about them gushers. Mmmmm gushers
@spongar141 , in hindsight, I really should've ordered some from Amazon when I was getting groceries
@TheBigJ, the biggest thing is- despite the warrant, he shouldn’t have died that way. It’s seriously f’d up that a white man can walk into a church, proceed to murder people who prayed with him, and walks out with a vest and police protection. There’s the problem. It doesn’t matter what Floyd did. He deserves the same criminal treatment that a mass murderer gets. Or start killing these mass murderers when apprehending them
@Pang, finally people who are woke!!! The guy was a garbage violent criminal!! Now let me reiterate this a thousand times.... HE DID NOT DESERVE TO DIE, ESPECIALLY BY ASPHYXIATION!! Nobody is disputing that! But can we please stop using these guys as martyrs or like they died for some cause! Uprise, sure, but do it in the right ways! Worshipping a Violent dead criminal is the same as worshipping a dead rapist black basketball player! Let’s be better people, please
@Medic135, look up any website that gives public records, fairly easy
@that1german, when I was 19, I got pulled over while parked at the grocery store with two of my friends. I was wearing my Movado watch at the time, and one of the officers said, and I quote "we just had a respected business man have a Movado stolen". I said we can go back to my house and I'll show you the receipt. He said "I don't like your attitude, get out of the fvcking car". As soon as my feet hit the ground, he shoved his hands in my pockets and pulled out a little bag of weed and my pipe, and slammed me against my hood and handcuffed me to my brush guard. They interrogated me for 2 hours, threatening to cut open my subwoofer box to look for more drugs, because they were convinced I was dealing because I had a nice car and a nice watch. They asked me about a dozen names of people I knew we dealers, and I said "yeah I know every single one of those people, but I don't know what they do" and the one punched me in the gut (still handcuffed to my car btw) and I'm white
@that1german, what they did to that poor guy was extremely out of line, but I wouldn't call it racist, just a couple of bad cops, like the ones who harassed me
@SchroedingerPussPuss, I know he didn’t deserve to die. My only problem with any of this is his face being painted everywhere. There are plenty of peaceful good members of society who could have been the face. Instead people are leaving flowers at this guys image whilst his previous victims are probably traumatised seeing it.
@Medic135, His criminal history is no secret it’s easily findable.
@TheBigJ, alot of people have a criminal history, the case still stands that he was being assaulted and then murdered for no reason
@Medic135, again im not against the movement and I agree he didnt deserve to die. But he doesnt deserve to be the face and treated as a martyr.
@Not him again, Danm man... was this in STL? I had some run ins with the 5-0 but never something so bad.
@seeUpee, yep, while parked in a Shop n Save parking lot
@seeUpee, I remember I was at a party back in high school, and the cops came and told everyone to leave...nobody did. They came back a second time and a bunch of us were hiding in the basement, and they kicked the basement door in and said "EVERYONE GET THE FVCK OUT OR YOU'RE GOING TO JAIL". I was like, well, I'm outta here
@TheBigJ, exactly. What is the mother of the child ,that he pointed a gun at through her stomach while she was pregnant, going to think? Is his mom just gunna never tell him what happened when hes old enough? Will she still eventually tell him Risking the fact he may feel like the world is celebrating someone who almost destroyed his family? This is crazy stuff.
@that1german, I thought floyd was like 6.5 minutes and it was tony timpa that was the 8 minute one?
@G1ngerB0y, just reading up on the case real quick, Timpa was kneeled on for over 13min and all reports corroborate that Floyd's incident was over 8min.
Either way, both men were killed while under police care and this is an issue that needs addressed. Unfortunately, it seems the police can't police themselves, so there has to be some other body, whether state or federal, that has to keep them accountable for actions like this.
@TheBigJ, thank youuuuuu
Here's the thing, distracted from what, globalist agenda? Most people know what's going on, actually I say most, it seems there's a 50/50 split
@butternut squash, afaik clinton is on trial now and the queens son is also on trial now as well
