Should not vaccinating your child be child abuse?
@NameyMcNameFace, not necessarily child abuse, but definitely child endangerment
@NameyMcNameFace, idk about abuse because it's not like you're actively doing something to hurt them. Maybe neglect or like @Not him again
@Not him again, it’s also dangerous to the public. What charge would that be?
@A Math Dealer, wouldn’t that be the same as not giving them a coat in the winter. You are not actively doing something to protect your child.
@NameyMcNameFace, ENDANGERMENT. Lol. To place someone in a dangerous situation
@Not him again, and why is no one getting arrested?
@NameyMcNameFace, abuse is a direct result (I did not feed my son and he starved). Endangerment is more of a situational aspect (I did not give my son a coat to wear in the cold, as a result, he is more susceptible to becoming sick)
@NameyMcNameFace, I'm not saying that they shouldn't be. Unfortunately the law hasn't caught up to this level of stupidity yet.
@NameyMcNameFace, I'd say it is. Damn public schools ban peanut butter because a single kid COULD be allergic. So if you don't have a vaccinated child, should any kid who's ever been ill not be allowed to attend school because of the kid(s) who could easily contract one of those illnesses that might end up deadly for a kid?🤔
@NameyMcNameFace, oh it's more than child abuse, it's creating a public health and safety crisis.
@ Ump89, I’m allergic to Un vax children.
@Not him again, not feeding someone is neglect. Long story short, neglect is child endangerment by -not- doing something for the child for their health. You’re on the right track, though.
@NameyMcNameFace, stupid question. If your child is vaccinated, surely it won't catch the illnesses of an unvaccinated child?
@NameyMcNameFace, you could probably count making your kid 300 pounds by 10yrs old neglect aswell
@NameyMcNameFace, There was a case I learned about in school where a kid died from a very treatable disease but the parents did nothing, claiming a religious exemption. I don’t remember the name of the case, but I believe they ended up being charged with child neglect.
@Imaginaut, I was comparing the not feeding to abuse (which includes neglect), not endangering. I was trying to explain the difference between the two, so I dont really get what you're talking about.
Ok this is the funnest one so far
Ah yes they would clearly live to 300 because of their superior health and lifestyle
