Well they couldn’t even figure out how to say Aang, so there’s that...
@A Blunt Object, it’s said how many times in the source material? At least once an episode, right? It’s in the freaking OPENING!!! I seriously don’t understand how they messed up the pronunciation of Aang...
@Toxia, tbh, I think it’s the proper way to say “peace.” In a flashback with Monk Gyatso, that’s how he pronounced “Aang.” But still, they should stick with the pronunciation we know and love
@A Blunt Object, that was the most mind blowing part of that whole movie. Why are you saying “ahng” instead of aang. What possible reason could you have for that
@TheGreatPwn, They clearly tried to make it more realistic with “real tattoos” and the actual Asian pronunciation of the name.. but like... don’t?
Never watched the movie. Can you people please tell why it sucked in the most angry way you can?
@MetalHeadTony, it was so bad it made Dragonball: Evolution look good
@Sexy Homunculus, Jesus. Im going to need a few drinks after reading that
@MetalHeadTony, Its honestly just such an obvious lack of real care or regard for viewers of any kind. I saw the movie having never seen an episode of Avatar, myself, and yet I left the theater feeling like the movie was just missing so much, or got so much wrong.
@Berntley, I watched every episode but I don’t remember a single thing really. I figured I could watch this and be ok but you have shown me otherwise
@MetalHeadTony, while I’m a big proponent of “check it out for yourself”, Last Airbender is one of those few exceptions that were so overwhelmingly disliked that you can probably just take everyone’s word for it, yeah.
From some1 who has watched the animated series and loved it then watched this 'movie'. Dont... just stick with the animated series and hope the Netflix adaption will do it justice lol
@MetalHeadTony, Imagine watching three planks of wood with a bunch of CGI water and fire floating around them with M Night Shamylan poorly summarizing the first season of Avatar. There you go, that's the movie.
@MetalHeadTony, I saw it in theaters. I remember no details of the plot, I just remember being incredibly bored and disappointed.
@Sexy Homunculus, hey let’s not get crazy here at least avatar knew the plot of what it was adapting it just sucked entirely at trying to pull it off however both were horribly miscast
I didn’t mind the movie that much. Didn’t know anything about the last airbender so I wasn’t disappointed in any plot. I’d watch it again. Certainly seen worse movies....
@Paul T, it's clear you didn't watch the show. They got everything wrong on soooooo many levels.
Actually fell asleep in the theater during this movie.. soooooooo bad!!
One bad hangover and my friends left me on the couch they had class to attend. And put on this movie. I was so hungover i couldnt move off the sofa and watched this movie on repeat for 8 hours. I dont like this movie.
Does anyone else see a blank screen for this photo? It is as if my brain is trying to filter out whatever it is. That or it is just a blank photo. Yeah, just a blank photo
